Project 365 - Week 41

Week 41.

Well, my pictures this week are not going to be very exciting.  I spent most of the week in bed with the worst head cold I have ever had.  I am on day 8 and still recovering.  I finally got vertical on Wed morning, only to go back to bed in the afternoon...ugh.  It was a bad week.

But I am finally on the mend and the week ended on a great note as you will see!!!

Here's my week:
Sunday
Going through a lot of these....good thing they are soft!

Monday
My best friends right now.  Actually not sure why the nail file is in the picture....

Tuesday
Am so miserable!!  Have decided to add bourbon to my tea as per my friend, Tracee, since NOTHING else is working!!!  :)

Wednesday
Have I told you that I love my neighbors before?  I have the greatest neighbors in the world!!  And one of them brought me a cherry limeade today.....I heart her.  And another friend brought me dinner.  Steve was so happy to have home cooked food! ha!  So was I!

Thursday
I am actually vertical today and feeling a little better!!
These beautiful journals came in the mail from my friend, Jewel.  She is selling them to support some pastors in Cambodia....but more on that later in the week!!!

Friday
What do you do when you are feeling better but don't want to overdo it?!  You turn to pinterest.....and/or finish a project you started a year ago.   Love how it turned out!!!

Saturday
What could make a sick mama feel better than for her son to show up for a surprise visit!!!  And he brought his old roommate, Seth, who I have missed seeing!!!  Now if Jared would just show up, it would be perfect!!!  Great ending to a lousy week!!!

Hopefully your week was better than mine!!!  I would love to see!

So sad! You must feel so far behind on life after that break. What good kids you have!

So sorry you've been under the weather and glad you're back on the mend! I pray God will restore your health and also loved the wreath, very cool beans!

So sorry you've been sick. It's a terrible way to be forced to relax, huh? Your wreath is beautiful. It makes me want to go find some yarn! That's one pinterest crafty item I CAN find here! I stay off of pinterest because it depresses me, but now I'm inspired!!
Hope you're back to 100% soon! Much love

So glad to hear you're doing better! What a great end to your week, with the surprise visit :) I love how God gives us what we need, even if we don't even know we need it!

Love the wreath, too. Looks like a fun project.

Take care of yourself and have a great week!

So did the bourbon help? I think I'd have to be REALLY sick to add bourbon to anything!

I'm glad Jason came by for a surprise visit!

Love those journals.
What great neighbors.
Lousy, lousy cold.
Don't come back any time soon!
Take care, friend.

hot totties are certainly called for with flu-like symptoms that are hard to kick...praying your strength grows daily; loving that your boy came home w/ a friend; good times!
have a wonderful week; will try to get back in the 365 game this week.

I am so glad that you are feeling better. The bourbon may not do anything for the cold but it sure will make you forget your troubles for a bit. I little bit in some hot tea and you're good to go!

Blessings

Glad you are feeling better. Loved the journals and wreath. Where did you get the instructions for the wreath. I would love to make one myself.
