Project 365 Week 11

Week 11.

I have had a great week.  Spring has definitely sprung in my neck of the woods and colors are popping out all over Little Rock!!

Here's my week:
Sunday
Our youth pastor delivered the sermon today and he had a really great illustration on how we live life.  But I couldn't resist taking his picture!!!

Monday
Dinner tonight.
I am seriously thinking of a life style change when our fast is over.  My husband is doing the Daniel fast and I decided, though my fast is different, to eat along with him.  I honestly have not felt better physically in a long time AND I've lost 7 lbs.....win/win.

Tuesday
Jared's grandparents bought him a laptop for graduation.  He was so excited to receive it today.....too bad it was DOA....ugh.  Such a let down!

Wednesday
This has become a very common sight at dinner.  I take whatever veggies I have in the fridge, toss them in olive oil and salt and pepper and then roast them in the oven.  So good!

Thursday
I finally bought a pair of Toms.
These were too cute to pass up!!

Friday
Jason and his friend, Tori, had a gig at a local coffee shop tonight.  I love listening to these to play and sing. They are both gifted guitarist and their voices blend so well together!

Saturday
Alyssa and I spent THREE hours this morning organizing our supply room at church.  It looks great and we now know where everything is!!!

Link up and share your week in pictures!!!

I almost ran out of time getting my pictures done too. We had such a busy day yesterday and time sure does slip away. I hope you have a wonderful Sunday and I'll check back later to see your pictures.

Great! Its so much easier to eat healthy when the whole house is doing it, though I don't imagine the boys are on the same page as you and Steve. :) Those two dishes look simply incredible!! That is definitely how I prefer to eat.

Hopefully your youth pastor saw that pic. :)

Love all the pics!!!

Youth Pastors just have a different way of delivering a message, dont they? I should say, they can get away with different ways :)

Those veggies look delish!!!

A new computer? Grandparents ROCK!

Loving the new Toms! I want to get me a pair myself!

Congratulation on the seven pounds. I have heard of the Daniel Fast as well.

When you computer fast is over you will have to give us a report on how you thought the Daniel fast went!

Love roasted veggies. Sadly mu oven is not very reliable in keeping consistent temps so I struggle with roasting things....would love a new oven!

Blessings

I should look into the Daniel fast - we definitely need some changes in how we eat.

I'm going to have to look into the Daniel diet! We've been trying to eat healthier -- AND not so much :) Last night we weren't very hungry and nothing sounded very good... so we had a large fresh fruit salad for dinner :)

Those Tom's are TOO CUTE! Did you know they're based on a traditional Argentine shoe? Here's a quote from wikipedia: "The company designs and sells lightweight shoes based on the Argentine alpargata design." How cool is that?! :)

Yay for organization!

Have a wonderful week!
