Project 365 - Week 40

 Week 40.

Welcome to October!

Well,  I ended up getting my husband's cold this week.  This is the worst time for me for allergies, but this turned into a cold I am still fighting.  Wednesday I had no voice at all.  I really had too much to do this week to be sick.

This was homecoming week for LRCA and I had a lot of responsibilities with the band....which, of course, I love!  Plus, my dad came in for the weekend and my niece and Jason and his girlfriend came in too!!!  One word......awesome!!!

Here's my week:
Sunday
Playing again with my new camera and the zoom.
Look at that sweet, sweet face!!!

Monday
No picture today.
I am typing this Wednesday and I can't even remember what I did on Monday.....seriously, that is just ridiculous.

Tuesday

These are my neighbors feet.
She convinced me to get up at 5:30 am.....you heard that right! 5:30 am!!!  to go to a morning Zumba class.  I have to say it was GREAT and I can't wait to go back!
And surprisingly I wasn't even grumpy!!!

Wednesday
Our Marching Band's show is a 70's theme.
These are the shirts I designed for the parents to wear in the stands!
Oh.my.word.  I LOVE them!!

Thursday
My dad came in for the weekend to visit.  All but one of his grandchildren are now in AR and they are all coming in to see him!

Friday
Homecoming!!!
Sadly my last.....waaahhhh!
But it was such a fun day!

 getting ready for the parade.....

 pep rally....

 marching into the game......

 directing half time show.....

cousins!!!

Saturday
We all had lunch at Five Guys before we took dad to see Kayley's college.
No, Jared is not mad....it had senior pics made today and was tired of smiling!

Dad surprised Andrea by kissing her.......such a great picture!
Dad and Kayley...one very proud grandpa!
So how was your week?

I got a cold this week too....it sure doesn't look like it slowed you down a bit! Glad to hear you liked Zumba - I went once and enjoyed it and planned to go back, but now too much time has lagged so I'm nervous about participating all over again.

Such a beautiful homecoming event...how bittersweet for you!

I pass a zumba place now - I might try it in the spring (I should be steadier).

Looks like you had a GREAT week with all your family! Hope your cold gets better soon.

I have no rhytmn and zumba was painful for me. I kept tripping on my left feet. Glad you like it. Loved the doggie face and all the homecoming pics. I need to photograph our bands shirts. I have one...even though I don't have a child in the band. I did...for a long time...I miss the band stuff. Yesterday was our LMI (Lake Martin Invitational) that we host each year....band competition. I miss all those hours too.....NOT!

He DOES look proud! So nice to have everyone together! Where's your mom?? Yay for 5:30 AM workouts!! We don't have homecoming here, but it looks like so much fun.

Thanks so much for doing this every week!

I hope you are feeling better....cold's are the worst!

I think your boy has your smile!

Great week and I commend you in getting up at 5:30, I used to have a neighbor before we moved to where we live now, we would meet at 5:30 to go walking....I would much rather do it early and get it out of the way then you can get your day started...

Great week!
Blessings

I'm super late today, with Muffinhead over most of the day yesterday and a not so good night of sleep I was exhausted, The DD had choir practice after church then we had to go shopping for orchestra pants so I fell into the chair at three clock for a short nap....feel much better now! It's amazing what a bit of sleep will do for you!

Okay. Part of me really wants to go to a Zumba class, but the other part of me is deathly afraid of being in a class full of people I don't know who all already know "how to" Zumba (is it a verb, too??) and feeling like a complete idiot. Where did you go?? And how much does it cost? Just in case I ever get up the nerve.

Great shirt! I miss all that high school fun stuff: pep rallies and band shows, etc.

Mmm...Five Guys.

5:30 am??? You are a much braver soul than me! :) (probably less grumpy too)

It looks like you had such a fantastic week! Sorry to hear you were not feeling well during most of it. Hope you're feeling much better now!

Sorry you were feeling under the weather...not fun to be sick. It was our homecoming this past week too. Yours looked like more fun though! No parade here and our pep rally was kind of a dud :( at least we won! Hope you had a nice visit with your dad! Feel better and have a great week

Oh, I loved marching band! Hope our children will be involved with that someday! Fun pictures!!!
Five Guys is our favorite place! We have to drive four hours just to enjoy it's tastiness!
Hope you're feeling better! :)
