It is so weird to be typing week 1 again, even though you will also be getting the last few pictures from last year.
I am very excited to have some new friends joining us for project 365. I have spent all day working on my Blurb book for last year's pictures and it is turning out SO GOOD!! It makes me very excited to continue with the project for 2010.
So, if you are joining us for the first time....welcome.
And if you are returning for another year...welcome back!
Here is my week:
Sunday
one of my favorite parts of the holiday's is receiving all the Christmas cards. I love reading about what everyone has been doing all year and getting caught up!
Mine have yet to go out......again.
Tuesday
While I was at work today, my oldest son completely took down the Christmas tree for me. And my youngest addressed all my Christmas card envelopes!!
I do love those boys!
Wednesday
Happy New Year!
We spent the evening with good friends,
playing cards, whoopin' on the boys,
and laughing....a great way to end the year!
Friday
This is my favorite picture from our open house today.
While all the adults (50+) were upstairs eating and visiting, and all the teenagers were running around all over the house, and all the younger kids were playing PS2 in my bedroom, our worship pastor's son had found my boys train set. I found him all by himself and completely content with it!! so sweet!!

Hey, Sara! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Yeah, well...“reality” sucks. Pardon my German.
...now, that is an interesting card tree. I clicked on it to see it in humongous size. Someone make this? Very, very nice. We’ve always blue-tacked our Christmas cars around a door frame. (fyi: This does not work well with cats...) I like this tree idea.
Tuesday’s photo is kinda’ sad... For me anyway... We leave ours up till 1/20 (it’s tradition!)
I see the stockings are still up at your house though :-)
Double-wide recliner: awwwwwww!
We need one of these at our house.
Love the photo editing on your New Year’s Eve shot. VERY NICE – Festive!
Little guy by himself – timeless! Little boys and trains...
Now... about your book; I know it’s somewhere on your blog ‘cause I remember you mentioning making a photo book before – but what software/program/site do you use? I’m wanting to do this too.
Glad to be part of Project 365 again in 2010 :)
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Looks like a great week Sara and I love the picture of your room. Very pretty. Hubby and I have a double recliner and I absolutely love it! Looking forward to trying again in 2010 to do Project 365. Hope I can keep up. Got the 1st 2 days anyway! lol
I have a question on the Blurb book...I seem to remember that the last time I tried it, I couldn't put my captions with the photos. Has that changed?
Hi Sara!
It has been a *long* time and I was wondering how you all were doing!
I found your blog thru Shannon Nelson's the other day and I love it! You are so good about being real - and you have great pictures. :)
I've decided to conquer my fear of blogs and start my own this year.. and take the Project 365 Challenge!
Off to figure out how to blog....
Carrie
(and the whole Krusemark clan)
I laughed when I saw Wednesday's picture! The score so far is:
Feet - 1
Food - 0
What a great week -- especially with the help of your boys! They will make wonderful husbands some day :-)
The photo of your pastor's son with the train set is just too precious for words.
I'm so excited to be continuing Project 365!!! I'm rarin' to go :-)
I love the card tree!
Two days down, 363 more to go! :)
Hey - Love the week - funny about the turkeys!!!
Your kids crack me up.
I am also excited to continue this project!!
I love the tree card!
Your kids are more than welcome to come by and give me a hand if they want. :D
Love the double recliner picture. I missed pictures for three days and realized I could have put feet and food in those spots. LOL!
Love the content little one. That is SO me.
Have a great week!
wonderful pics...happy new year...i'm starting off late...
Love the pics! Especially the little boy & the train set, so cute!
I want to start this year and actually finish...my only problem is my broken camera! =[ Hopefully I can remedy this situation ASAP!
Yay! Another year! I am in awe that you have your book done already. You are one of THOSE people! :) I'm anxious to get mine done, too, I just have one more post to sneak in with a back date.
Wow, that was so sweet of your boys to know that needed to be done and to do it!
Sounds like a fun (exhausting) party, but a good way to start the new year.
Happy New Year...thanks for coming back!
Happy New Year!!!
I love your card tree! LOVE.IT.
I need me a double wide recliner! Would love to snuggle with my man on one of those!
As sad as it is to see the Christmas tree go, is it not OH SO NICE to have the house back? My tiny little living room seems so HUGE without it!
Thank you sooooo much for hosting us again. I am so very thankful for this project!
Look forward to looking at all the pics, but you know what a failure I am with this.
Sara, you probably don't remember me, but I remember you. My family started going to River Valley shortly before yours left. Anyway, I attempted Project 365 last year and didn't get very far. I'm giving it another whirl this year. I'm trying to figure out how to get your link onto my blog, though. Help?
He he. Nevermind, I see that you have instructions. :)
Sara
Is there something I am supposed to do to link back to your blogs on Sundays? I have grabbed your button, but I am not sure how to properly participate! I'll go look again at directions! xo
Look how many people you've inspired!! What a wonderful growing group of people committing to capture their family's life! I'm so excited!!! Thanks for hosting again this year!
not sure i can keep up this year but i am going to try! :)
Great week, Sara! I'm so excited to join you this time. Yay! Back to reality for us... tomorrow. Sigh... So great of your kids to take care of the Christmas aftermath. ;)
Week 1! It's not possible that a whole year has gone by already...amazing...
50 people - wow! That's some party! Happy New Year, Sara!
I think you indirectly inspired more than those of us in the "amazing mommy bloggers" circle. This is what Kim's son called us, but, hey, both he and his sister joined their own P 365!
All your photos are great and tell a story.
Love the card tree, the double recliner, your blurb book accomplishment and the fact that your boys helped with dismantling Christmas! trees, I mean!
Dog! I'm obviously getting off to a pathetic start. (I was still in holidays/visits with family/TRY to keep up with the ensuing laundry mode.) Don't know why I didn't think THIS was week 1. Duh. Okay. I'll take a picture right now so I can have a Sunday pic for Week 2. :)
Looks like your New Year is off to a great start - that is some party you had! Sounds like lots of fun!
Love that you got a picture of your feet in during the very first week of pictures.
maybe, just maybe i'll make it this year! heehee
Sara,
I really love this project concept. Can you help a girl out?
How does this work? Can you explain the week's purpose of the pix? I want to participate. I just need some clarification.
I love your pix btw! You can email me or stop by my blog to contact me. My email is: kimberly.a.edwards AT gmail DOT com
Thanks!
I'm so glad you are continuing the project and I love the new button you created.
You don't know me, but my sister, Rita, pointed me to your blog to get your project 365 button. (We both decided to do this for the new year, it will be a nice way to keep in touch over the miles)Though now that I saw your last post, I think we may have met. Anyway, I enjoy your creative photography and wanted to let ya know I stole your button:)
