Project 365 - Week 49

Week 49 and counting down!!!

this week started out very depressing for me and put me in a Bah Hum Bug mood. I loved having my best friend's family and my daughter here for the Thanksgiving weekend. The house was FULL and LOUD and WONDERFUL!!! I was in heaven!!!

Just a little, ok... a lot, of Holiday let down set in on Sunday.

This has been my busiest week ever (see this post if you are wondering why), but I am happy to say, that God has worked on my heart and it has been a wonderful weekend!!! I am tired, but everything was accomplished and came out awesome!!! I will be posting on some of it later this week.

Here it is:
Sunday
In case you were wondering....

.....goodbyes stink.

Monday

Back to setting the table for four.....
....this has made me very sad today.

Tuesday

some wonderful friend...
...knowing I have been a bit hormonal lately....
...left this on my doorstep!
So great!!

Wednesday

Decking the Halls at the church tonight!

so much fun!
We had cider, hot chocolate and desserts...
Christmas music AND
I am finally in the Christmas spirit!!!!

This helped.....
This is our youth pastor's new foster baby.
How sweet is he?!!!

Thursday

Waiting in my little cubicle to have my mammogram
and trying to prepare myself! ha!
This actually happened on Friday, but I didn't have a picture for Thursday.

IFO Christmas party
International Friendship Outreach

we had over 350 internationals at our church for a Christmas dinner, party and program.

each was given a gift and for many it was the first and maybe only time they will hear the message of Christ.

Saturday
My parents flew in today for a quick visit!!!
...and no, my mom is not a 2 fisted ice cream eater...
..she's holding MINE!

How was your week?

Sara! YOU look way better than I do in the mammogram get-up. Add a scarf and you'd be good to go! Nice picture even though I say it again: you're too young for a mammo.
That first IFO Christmas party photo still touches me... Such a sweet and loving smile on that mom.
I really like that photo of your dad standing over grandson with hug -- that is priceless :)
...Why are the boys' cones 3x the size of your's and your mothers??!!
(and you definitely have your mother's engaging and glorious smile!)

Love the pics...especially the international students. :) What a cool outreach!! Brings back memories of our small group of Chinese students who used to come to our house in Indiana.

Great pic of you waiting for your mammo. :)

Glad your week started looking up! And thankful everything went smoothly over the weekend :-) I'm pretty tired myself today and feeling rather hormonal. Maybe share some of the thoughts from that book with your readers? :-)

Have a great week!

I agree with you...goodbyes DO stink. I sent my girls back off to school on Sunday too. :-(

That baby is so precious!

Your church is beautiful inside and looks so festive with all the decorations.

I can't believe you took your picture in your mamo shirt! LOL!

Glad you got everything accomplished and that you're in the Christmas Spirit, or maybe it's the CHRISTmas Spirit that's in you!

Loved all the photos. Looks like lots of love going on at your place.

Glad you made it through your crazy week! LOVE the one of your dad! Your church looks beautiful...what a neat outreach.

Is the youth pastor licensed through the state or with a private organization?

Your weeks are so diverse compared to mine...fun to see all that you do.

The pic of your dad brought tears to my eyes. You are rockin' the mammogram shirt... And I may need to look for that book. What great friends you have.

It is hard saying good bye! Whenever I go visit my sister or Mom&Dad I too get into a funk after saying goodbye!
That little foster baby is adorable!
Glad to hear you are now in the Christmas mood.

Hi, Sara! Your week was very full! Good job on taking the time to document it--especially the one taken at the doctor! Yikes! I'm not looking forward to that day. Have a blessed week, my friend. I can't wait to see pictures of your beautiful Christmas decorations. Will you share?
