phase 2 30 x5 results, facelift needed, waiting

If you look at that title, you could come to a lot of conclusions. But let me clear them up!

After attempting Linda's, at 2nd cup of coffee, phase 2 30 x 5 challenge, I would say that I made it 75% of the time.......not bad huh? I have exercised at least 4 times a week....and since the challenge was for 30 minutes of exercise........and since for most of them I exercised for an hour, I feel that they carry over for the days that I missed.........meaning I hit most every day!!!! woo! hoo!!

How is that for justification?! and of course, I am not counting the days that I had the flu, although, I should because I got plenty of exercise..............ok, I won't go there!! :)

Now the denying 100 calories, I did so so. I am not a very disciplined person, especially when it comes to food. But I did try!!! That counts, right?!

So I think that I can accept her award.......
And I am pumped for Phase 3.......bring it on, Linda!!!

Now, as for the face lift........though my skin is beginning to sag (it is really sad when you realize that your skin looks like your mothers!), the face lift needed is for my blog!! I am typically one of those people who never moves her furniture once it is in place. When I get things the way I like them......it's there......forever!!

But guys, I need a new look! This blog needs a new style and I am obviously not savvy enough to do it myself. I see many bloggers use "the cutest blog on the block", but when I go there, I don't see all those cute layouts..........I see ones that, as a pastor's wife, probably would not be appropriate!!! When I did find one I "sort of" like, I could not figure out how to apply it to my blog....I seriously am getting old. I used to be able to figure out anything on the computer.......argh!

So, I am calling out for help!!! Anyone want to help a girl update her look, or at least point me in the right direction of someone who can? I will be oh so grateful!!!!

Now, for the waiting. Ya'll, I am not a good waiter....and that is an understatement! But I need your prayers to wait on God. I see God working in an area in my life and I am tempted to step in and "make it happen". I am currently wrestling with an area....whether God wants me to do it or whether I am just jumping in on my own accord. Would you please pray with me, that I would pull my little fingers away and let God work.........and that I would be content with waiting on Him.

Thanks!

We would be dangerous together, we are so much alike. I can justify almost anything and I'm not a good waiter either. ; ) And my blog needs a makeover too but it's not on my priority list so I'll learn from you. I can pray about all of it with you! I wonder what Phase 3 of the challenge will be. We might as well go for it!

Sara:

Just said a prayer for you and will continue to pray that God will lead you and you'll wait on him. I think waiting is one of the hardest things to do!

If you just need directions on how to do the cutestblogontheblock, I can probably help with that. Anything else and I'm not much help. In fact, I'm trying to figure out how to do a signature for my blog. I love yours and so many people have really cool ones.

hmm, so i'm sitting here shoving a cream filled donut in my mouth reading your challenge. psh..conviction? naw!

i won't even dare tell you how long it took me to design my blog, but i will say i LOVE that kinda stuff, so it's fun for me. and from a girl who seriously moves furniture once a month or so..no advice here. i bet there are a lot of people who would charge you to design if that's the route you want?

and hmm, waiting...don't know what you mean! bwhahah. same boat girl. keep those fingers back!

My sis-n-law, Patrice does great blogs, what she charges for them goes towards her mission trip with her church to the dominican this summer. http://blessingsamidchaos.blogspot.com

You did great on the 30x5-100.

Saying a prayer for you.

Sara, don't talk to me about a new look: I went to a whole new host for my blog! I like WordPress especially for its clean look.

I'm proud of you for excercising even one little bit! My friend lost 12 pounds on Weight Watchers when she started February 14th and didn't even tell me! When I think of what I could've lost, if I'd been a bit more disciplined...well, there's no time like the present.

And, of course I'll pray for you to wait. While I'm praying for myself to do the same.

Wow - you did WAY better than me. I think I did maybe 50% - better than nothing, but I fell far short of my high ambitions.

Wow you did a great job and deserve that award Sara! I so need to get to exercising myself.

LOL, I need the first facelift you mentioned. How sad. :) I do blog designs and makeovers. Yes I do charge for it but the amount is what you and God decide. I don't have a set price. God has given me a skill that He wants me to use for His purposes. I totally love what creating for others and would do it for free if I didn't have these pesky bills to pay. :)

As you know I do little things for free whenever people come my way too. Anyway, I would love to design your new look if you want one. I do have to say that I've always loved this look that you have too. :)

I will pray for you also. I have a hard time waiting too, but He never fails us.

The verse I am memorizing for these two weeks is:

Since before time began no one has ever imagined, no ear heard, no eye seen, a God like you who works for those who wait for him. Is 64:4

He'll be faithful to guide and direct you!
