Just some randomness....

**I have sort of been on vacation for 3 days now and I am exhausted!
Wednesday my dad was honored at the hospital he worked at, Thursday I was in meetings it seemed like all day, and today we are traveling to northern AZ with my parents..whew!

**the vacation can really start as soon as I step foot on the porch of my parent's cabin.  I plan on getting a lot of "book time" there in the next several days.

**Whenever I come home, it makes me miss it even more.  Do we always miss our home town?  when my eyes get their first glimpse of the mountains surrounding Tucson,  my heart just feels comfort.

**I love getting time with my brother!

**I realize now that I am truly a coffee snob.
I had to go out and get some starbucks guatemalan coffee...can't drink my mom's dunkin donuts any more....it's too sweet!

**I love getting to walk with my dad and hold his hand.

**I'm not as patient as I'd like to be

**my mom has pictures of my kids all over her house...it makes me miss them....a lot.

**I am very, very blessed.

So strange that you are just without your kids all the time now...sad too, but good that you did such an incredible job with them

Enjoy being "home"

I feel the same way in all the points.
But.... I will see you in twelve days. Can't even wrap my mind around this. Looking forward to the 3rd.

Yeah, hometown is always missed. No matter how bad you were doing there. It's weird but nevertheless true.

So happy for you to get some special retreat-time. Love the hand-holding and coffee preferences....my hubby is so "Starbucks snobby"! =)

What books are you reading?

This is sweet.
I'm not quite as snobby about my coffee as your are, but I'm definitely picky! ;-) I think cracker barrel has some of the best coffee in the world. Is that weird?
