blogging mojo.....where has it gone?

I can't seem to pull together any posts lately and I am wondering if my blogging mojo is gone for good.  And if it is, why?

could it be....

*my kids are older and provide less fodder for posts? seriously, I wish blogging had been around when my kids were young...oh the posts I could have written!
*what fodder they do provide can't be posted because they read my blog and would get upset?
*my over-fifty brain can't remember what it did yesterday in order to come up with a post? or even sometimes 5 minutes ago?
*most of what I am "dealing with" lately is not blog appropriate?
*some of those previous things are not really blog "worthy" either?
*lack of motivation?
*I'm just too busy and/or tired most of the time?
*laziness?
*all of the above?

Whatever it is, I wish it would come back.

i take many more breaks than i used to...
sometimes i'm only on once a week

i've lost followers 'cause they don't leave me messages

i still LOVE being able to communicate with those people far away though...so i keep mine going for the few i do hear from :)
...
and i need to go back and build books from my past post, too

Ditto ditto ditto (except for the part about kids - heh). I have got total blog apathy. If it weren't for the P365 posts I would probably have just shut the thing down for the summer & hoped my mojo came back in the fall. Instead I just limp along each week without very much to say.

I find myself with so much I want to blog about but either
a) I don't have the time to blog because life has been crazy busy or
b) when I sit down to write a blog I just can't get my thoughts together to make a good blog post.

Just don't give up... even if you only post once a week or so, to me that's better than nothing.

Once you're out of the habit, it's REALLY hard to get back in! At least that's been my experience. Since last year when we were on furlough and I had little time to blog, I've struggled to get back into the blogging routine.

Also at play are things going on in our lives that we know we can't share in a public forum like this. When it's a big chunk of our life, well, what do you do?

And sometimes it's simply a matter of time. I know there are weeks when I'm doing good just to get the P365 post up.

I keep reminding myself that my blog serves a couple of purposes: (1) it allows friends and family to know what's happening in our lives, without me having to individually write to each one, and (2) it has provided a network of blog friends that I cherish and don't want to lose. For those two reasons I am not willing to put down my keyboard yet :)

I'm right there with you. I was looking at my list of entries and they've all been 365 posts for about 3 months. Ugh. My kids seriously need to do something hilarious and wonderful. I blame them. :-)

Oh my goodness - I feel your pain! I'm trying to keep up and be a good commenter, but it's hard. And the things that are going on in my life right now, I can't really blog about :(

Hope that you really are having a great summer and your blogging mojo comes back :)
