Project 365 - Week 9

 Week 9.

Oh, can I just say that I miss all y'all?!!!  One week down.....5 to go...

Here's my week:
Sunday
my girls weekend has changed a bit this year.....we are eating much healthier than we ever have before! hmmmmm.

Monday
So sad to leave all my friends today!
Until next year!

Tuesday
It is FEBRUARY and things are blooming!!!
This has been a very strange winter...actually, we have really not had a winter.

Wednesday
I am so enjoying our church's 40/40 prayer retreat.  This week we have been meditating on John 12.

Thursday
Lily had to go to the vet today.....she is a bit nervous!!

Friday
No picture today.
Steve and I enjoyed spending the day together....around a few meetings.

Saturday
Finally had time today to do some reading....it's been a while and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Don't comment on the size of the print....my eyes are old!!!

So how was your week?

That's CRAZY how your trees are budding and blooming!

We are thankful the heat wave we've experienced since mid-December has finally broken! We had temps in the 80s all week. And it even got quite cool overnight a couple times.

Do you have a special cover on your Kindle? It looks interesting and different :) I just downloaded a dozen (mostly free) books for our trip. I know I can't read them all, but I've found I only read about 1 out of every 6-8 that I download because most of the freebies are so bad... as in so poorly written that trying to read them is like listening to fingernails on a chalkboard.

Hope Lily's appointment went well and she had nothing to be worried about!

Have a great week, my friend.

All I can say is - miss you too.

Thanks for sharing a little spring as I watch it snow again this morning.

Ever since you have been talking about your girls weekend I can not get that out of my mind!I know you enjoyed yourself and that breakfast looked so yummy!

I think you are right about winter, however i am afraid we will get a cold snap and all the blossoming trees and flowers will get ruined. It seems to happen every year:(

Is that a nook?
I just finished a book called "The Masters Wall" It was a little slow out of the gate but once I was past the first few chapters it was a good story! I loaned it to a friend but after she is finished with if you want I can email it to you???

Great week and we miss you too...FB is lonely!!!!:)

that breakfast looks delicious!
glad to hear we're not the only ones who're having an abnormally warm winter, but i hate to think what that means for summer. :-/

That breakfast looks really good! Isn't it funny that we "force" ourselves to eat healthy & a lot of times the healthy choice really is just as tasty - we just have to do mental gymnastics before we'll believe it!

I'm glad you had some time to read - that's something positive about not doing computer stuff :)

Our flowering plum trees are just starting to emerge....it's good they waited until after the snow left to make their appearance. We've had a "real winter" - and things are still starting to bloom...they must know it is March. I will take it! (And, I'm counting on this wet/cold winter to mean we've earned a real spring and early summer!)

I miss you too - but am so impressed by your decision and motivations.

Love seeing the blooms!! SO glad you had a great weekend. Trust God is showing himself faithful during this time.

Our foster care app was approved last week and we got a call! I'll keep you posted!

I am ALL for the healthy eating but I hope you all enjoyed some RICHNESS too! :)

Good week! FOR SURE!

We didn't really have a winter to speak of either. VERY strange.
