Do you not know?

My bible study of Isaiah has taken me to chapter 40 this morning.
What a beautiful chapter and words I need to remember always...

Do you not know? Have you no heard?

The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired, His understanding is inscrutable.

He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power.

Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength;

they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.
Isaiah 40:28-31

i count on this promise quite often; really reading His Word and contemplating and waiting on IT changes everything.
thank you for reminding me of that today ;)

Isaiah....LOVE IT!

The comfort of knowing that no mater how weary I can feel, with the Lord I can always find that source of new strength!

May we dwell in His word and be covered in His love as our weakness is used to show His strength!
