Today, starts my first "last".
Today, is my youngest child's 1st day of his senior year.
Today, is the last 1st-day-of-school I will ever have.
Today, is the last time I will pack a special lunch for the 1st day of school.
Today, my heart is full and heavy at the same time.
Today...
..how did you get from here....
...to here...
so quickly.

Here is a hug - I will need one next Monday.
When I talked about my last of things someone said look at all the firsts we have to look forward too. True - bad hard too right now.
Now don't you and Steve go for breakfast on the first day of school too?
Enjoy all those first/last moments! Soon they will be first wedding/first grand-baby/first....all over again.
The more things change the more they stay the same!
I'm feeling that mama pain right there with you as my DD heads off into her sophomore year I know that it will not be long before she is off to collage and then out on her own......she just asked me the other day "Mom when are we going to sit down so you can show me how to set up a budget on the computer..." she is already thinking of those grown up kind of things....
Blessings

Oh man - it does go by so fast! And I know when you look at these beautiful, GROWN children, you still see those small kiddos that were once so tiny...
That picture of when they were kids is so cute!
I have anyways enjoyed hearing about your "kids" and all the intresting and grown up things they are doing. Looking at them now, I think that has to be one proud mama! (And papa!) And DITTO what Rebecca Jo said! It's so true.
I know I will be there in the blink of an eye. I've learned from you and so many others to just soak it all in because its all fleeting.
Thinking of you as you do senior year one last time. :(
Awww!! It's okay, though. =) It's the last high school year but the beginning of new, exciting things!!
Big Hug. I remember that day.....and all the other days that followed it with new things.
Awww.... I don't even want to think about it. My turn's comin' before I know it.
I have one graduated from high school, and three more to go, with the last not graduating until 2020! Yep, I have a long way to go. I will be so old by then!
Even though I didn't get a chance to leave a comment yesterday, I really did pray for you! Thanks so much for all of your encouragement! Wish we lived close enough to meet for coffee! :)
Sending hugs your way! I think this is every mom's question when the 1st of events are over. What makes me really sad is sometimes it's over and I didn't even know that it would be my "last". Thanks for sharing.
Waaahhhh.... I know. How does it happen so fast? HUGS!!
