Project 365 - Week 24

 Week 24.

First of all, I'd like to ask ya'll to continue to pray for Rita and Mike.  I am not sure if she will be posting this week or not, but you can find out about her house burning down on her blog.  Pray for them as they rebuild!!!

I am so happy to have my pool up and running!!  And just in time for the 100+ degree weather!!!  Oh my word it has been hot.  We are having July weather in June.  But I am NOT complaining.  I will take this heat over the rain and tornadoes any day!!!!

I was down to 2 kids this week again. :(  I so enjoyed having all my kids in the house and we had a grand time playing a lot of games!!!  I also had a great time fixing all their favorite foods!!!  And now at the end of the week, I am down to one child and it is VERY quiet.....I am not adapting well to this new season of life....ugh.

Well, here's my week:
Sunday

Tonight we had dinner with some great friends who are soon to be on the mission field in China.  I convinced LeAnne to do project 365 this year, so I had to take a picture of her husband, Lee, setting up for HER P365 pic!!!

Oh.....and here's her picture!!!

Monday

Our first pool party of the summer!!!

Tuesday

Took a lot of pictures of our car today....we are getting it ready to sell.
Any takers?

Wednesday

Alyssa had her first day with patients today.
Isn't she cute in her scrubs?
I couldn't find my camera so you got a cell pic.  :(

Thursday

Found this recipe on Proud Italian Cook.
Oh.my.word.
So Yummy!!!  but you see I had to make chicken for Jared!

Friday

We had some friends over to swim today.  this picture cracked me up.  This is the conversation I imagined....
Alex: what? What do you want?
Lily:  just come a liiiiitle closer....and I'll have you!!!!

She was constantly trying to "save" the boys!!!

Saturday
I LOVE my neighbors and summer!!!
The beans, onion, potatoes and cucumber all came from their garden!!!

Now it's your turn.  Show us how your week went!!

So happy you got your pool fixed -- with those temperatures, you NEED it!

Thanks for letting us know about Rita. How sad for them.

Your food looks delish and I want warm weather again - the last 3 days it has been in the 50's.

Hope to leave right after state games so either Wed or Thur and drive 19 hours to Boston. Have tickets for the Brewers/Red Sox game Friday night.

Will link up in 2 weeks.

Blessings to you dear friend :)

What a great week. I'm jealous of your pool. Except I'm not really a pool bunny. But it LOOKS like so much fun :)

Alyssa does look cute in her scrubs.

How is it that I've missed LeAnne's P365 posts??? Does she post regularly? Or is she one of those who doesn't actually have many/any pictures of herSELF on her own blog (much like ME), and I just didn't realize it was her? Eh, not that it matters. I'll just keep my eyes peeled. So, she's off to China? Wow. That's awesome!

Yay for Alyssa!

Mmmm...food on the grill looks yumm-o.

Saw your comment. :) It's so unlike me to be early for ANYthing!! haha

The blueberry farm we went to was Bobrook Farms in Roland. Chemical-free blueberries. They have a website. Pick Tues., Thurs., Sat. from 7-12.

I went over to Rita's blog yesterday and saw some of her pictures. Oh my stars...I am just thankful they are both all right!

Great week, love that you are enjoying the fruits of your neighbor's garden, very productive.

Blessings

Glad you are getting to enjoy that pool!

I love that you have converted people to 365! Alyssa looks like a natural. :)

YUMmy food pictures...you are incredible!

I stumbled upon some pictures from Boston last year. There is a sweet one of you walking with a little girl's hand in each one of yours. Wish we had you in our lives on a regular basis. :)

Omgoodness about the house fire. (will head there in a moment.) How awful!

Your meals look just delicious and so summery. How lucky to have neighbors supplying you with all that vegetably goodness :)

I am with you! Hating this July weather in June but will take it over the tornados anyday. Sheesh!

How fun to have a pool. I love that you are always sharing it with others.

Love your daughter in her scrubs. You must be a proud mom!!!

Counting the days until we get to meet!

Okay - let me get this right? LeeAnne and Lee are married? That would be as cute as a Tony & Toni I knew!

And for some reason I got hungry while reading your post... I'm about to go eat my willpower in a minute... that grill looks good!

And the pool - how hilarious is the dog?!?! Love it!

Oh my... that 'garden' dinner looks AMAZING!!!

Yipee for pool parties - especially in this heat!

Love the "scrubs" look on Alyssa... do you still see a little girl playing dress up?

You're making me hungry! The food looked delicious!

We've been bearing with the 100 degree weather here in the DC area, but today it is in the 70's. I've got all the windows open to enjoy the cool breeze. Hopefully, you'll get a cool break this week, as well. But then, you do have the pool! :)

Your week looks as fun as usual.

BTW, where is the couple going to in China? With what organization? if you email me, I can share about a family member there and maybe they can meet.

Have a great week!
