Project 365 - Week 11

Week 11.

This week has literally flown by!!  Seriously, it was Monday and I blinked and then it was Friday.  whew!

Who told me that once the kids left the nest that things would slow down.....they lied.  It just seems to get busier and busier.....or maybe I am just having a harder time keeping up!  Either way, I feel like I need to get off the train!!

Here's my week:
  Sunday

We had a leak in our roof and are finally getting the damage fixed.  This is what I came home to.

Monday

Made Pioneer Woman's Asian beef and noodle soup tonight
Tuesday
Went to see my BF Wendi.....she took a fall in her garage!
Actually this picture doesn't do it justice...poor thing!!!
Wednesday

We were invited to dinner at our Worship pastor's house tonight.
They served PW's Thai noodles.
I cracked up when I looked over and saw their son cutting the noodles hanging out of his mouth with the knife!!!

Thursday

Our weather has been glorious lately!!!!

Friday
 Alyssa's home!!!!

Saturday
Flat Stanley decided to come with me and Alyssa to Arizona.  Here he is enjoying my favorite treat...an Eegee!  We stopped on the way home from the airport.  This is the flavor of the month...Lime.  SO GOOD!!!!

So, how was your week?  Is it spring time where you are?

Loved the pictures this week. PW's soup looked yummy. Is that from her cookbook or her blog? Loved Flat Stanley. The flowers, especially the tulip tree, were gorgeous. Have a great week.+

first of all... OUCH! looks like spring is popping up there. we had hit spring here and then the cold came back in, so it's the rest of the world's spring this week, not Florida spring (o:

Ouch! You friend looks like she was at the losing end of a fist fight. I hope she heals quickly!

I really hope that little boy had a butter knife.

Love the action in the picture of your two kids. You can feel the excitement.

We have some early spring color her also, it is such a nice change from dreary winter.

That soup look amazing, I might have to look up the recipe on her blog.

My son had curls like that when he was a little boy, platinum blonde ringlets all over his head. The hair is a bit darker now but he still has the curls!

Never heard of an Eegee! Looks like sherbet????

Great week!

And if anyone tell you life slows down after retirement, they're kidding.
Spring blossoms, just went to the window to see if our daffodils are coming up--YES, about 3" poking up out of the ground. Photos in the next few weeks!
So sorry about your friend. I must say I was glad to read it was a fall and not a beating.

You have a Flat Stella! I thought I'd missed a story on your blog and when I googled Flat Stanley I got to read about the Literacy program. What fun!

A few years ago Mark got into geo-caching and took a VW bug with us to Disneyworld to show where the bug had been. Fun little project.

Hope Wendi feels better soon!

The noodle pic was cute. Alyssa's homecoming (if you scroll fast enough) looks impressionistic. :)

Don't even get me going on your blossoms. None here yet...waiting.
