Project 365 - Week 2

Week 2

Our first full week in 2011!!

I was so excited to see how many people will be joining us this year!!!  We had 28 link up last week and I know a few more that are starting this week!  that is so much fun!!   I can't wait to get around and see how everyone's New Year has started off!

However, it may take me awhile.  My laptop decided to up and crash last week....ugh.  I really am missing it!!  I didn't realize not only how much I am on the computer but how I depend on the flexibility of my laptop.  I am putting this together on our desktop that the kids use, but it is just not very convenient.....and the chair is very uncomfortable.....I know you feel sorry for me!

Anyway, I should have it back soon and the good news is that I had backed up just days before AND I had not downloaded this weeks pictures yet....I would have lost them because I delete them off my camera when I do.  So, I can deal with a little inconvenience!!

If  you are new to P365, just post your weeks pictures and then link up at the bottom here!  Be sure and visit as many people as you can.  We all love comments!

Here's my week:
 Sunday
We are having a penny war in sunday school and today was the last Sunday.  So I challenged the kids last week and said that I would match whatever was brought in....maybe I should have thought about that a little longer!!  They brought in $46!!!

Monday
Jason had to have a stroboscopy done today to check his vocal folds.  This was the most interesting thing I have seen in a while!!!  He is fine, but we have learned that he speaks and sings incorrectly.

Tuesday
 Today is Jared's birthday!!!
He chose stir fry for dinner...very yummy!
Wednesday

Alyssa came by my work to say goodbye on her way out of town today.

Thursday
It's a bit chilly outside so chicken and noodles sounded good for dinner.

Friday

I had a coupon, so we went out for pizza tonight.
This is one of the best in LR!!!
Saturday

Puppy mosh pit!!!!
My neighbor is fostering 8 boxer puppies and oh my gosh are they cute!!  See the one on the left side with his tongue out....precious!  Anyone want a puppy?

Now it is your turn to show off your week!  Link up below!!  Since I don't have my laptop, which has my user name a password for simply linked, I had to copy last weeks link over.  So...if it will let you, just link up a second time if you are already on the list.  Sorry guys!!!  Argh!  I hate this....

I SO WISH we lived close, cause my DS 4 would LOVE to foster puppies. Those are precious. I love this and just wish I had it in me to actually TAKE and UPLOAD a picture for every day. I don't...so I'll live vicariously through all of yours and others. Have a good one!

I love your pictures! Those puppies are so adorable! I missed a few days this week, but I will have my post linked up soon! Hopefully next week will be better!

Awww... cute puppies, but what work. I think I'll pass. On the wor, not on gazing at their cuteness!

Sorry to hear about your computer. At least you still have access, it was hard to for me to get online last year when we were having so many problems. I hope your laptop is back to normal soon!

I took a class to for my masters in vocal performance that was all about the pathology of the vocal folds and we all got to get our scoped. It was pretty cool. It is amazing how a few incorrect habits can affect those little guys.

All your food looks amazing, and what a great picture of you and your girl.

So excited to be participating again.

Well ya learn something new every day, who knew you could speak incorrectly...not me!!! But then I'm neither musically or vocally inclined or so I'm told by the teenage daughter when I belt one out in the car....

A new laptop is on my list for this year. I am determined to get a new one. It really is amazing how much more convenient they are. Mine bit the dust and there was no recovery, it was just too old to invest the cost of parts and repair.

I hope the son gets all his vocal issues fixed the world needs those joyful noises!

Blessings
R

PS: It's a miracle that it's before 8:00 P.M. and I'm linking up. Now I have to go wake the fam for church!

I can relate to your computer woes since my hard drive crashed while we were in the U.S. It's like we've suddenly lost an arm or a leg :) So glad you were smart enough to back it up right before! Wish I'd done that. *sigh*

Looks like a great week (all except having to say goodbye to your daughter). The chicken noodle soup looks so yummy! I probably won't be making any for a while -- soup just isn't something you want when it's 90+ degrees :) Had to laugh at the kids' response to your challenge :) Way to go kids!

Have a great week!

The puppies are precious...I have a friend who would love one. The chicken soup looks so good...especially since I am under the weather today. :-( We are having a blizzard today supposedly...but you know that is what they call anything over an inch of snow in the south.

It IS inconvenient to be on a different computer than the one you are used to. Sounds like you got a best-case scenario though. WOnder how that pizza compares to NY style...

Oh my gosh those puppies are cute and the food makes me hungry!

Always fun to read about your week, enjoy your food 'virtually', get a feel for your amazing family.
I can relate to your computer issues. I've been without my main one for two months now. I understand having to be resourceful, change the way one is used to doing things...and still hang in there!
Thank you for staing with us.

I've never even heard of a stroboscopy! I'd love to know whether I speak/sing correctly or not. My question is: is it painful????

Sorry about your laptop. I'm in the same shape here. And we don't have a desktop for back-up. I don't know what we're going to do...(I'm just thankful Paul's home today--with HIS work laptop--because of the snow.)

Damgoode is quite yummy indeed!

CUTE puppies!! How much????? (This is a serious question.)

LOOK at how P365 is growing--so fun! I wish I were more on the ball, but alas, I am just not. :)

I always love seeing your week, lady.

It's a good thing you didn't tell the kids you would triple their penney offering! LOL That's a sweet pic of you and your daughter...I know you're sad to see her go! :(

I just read your comment on my week 2 post....thanks for the encouragement! I do hope you get your laptop back soon.

Oh and I left a couple of questions on your P365 blog. Have a great week! ~ Debra

Wow girly look at all your linky's! That is awesome. I hope they all stick with it. How fun. Yum to the soup and the stir fry. Haven't had stir fry in years...hubs is not a fan, but I love it.
hope your son learns to sing correctly (how do they know that?)...we already know he sings great.

Susan said...

Oh Yay you're doing this again! I stumbled in on it last month and thought it was an awsome idea. Ok, I'm joining in! Um... I guess I have to play catch up for the last 10 days though huh. I'll see what I can come up with so that I'll have something for next time. Meanwhile, I'm going to check out the others who linked up.

Oh, and I loved the photo of your daughter and you, very sweet indeed.
