It stinks to get old

God and I have been wrestling with a few things lately.
And as usual, I have come away having learned a lot.

I fully expected to sit down here this afternoon and tell you all about it..

....however, I only got a few hours sleep last night
(stupid hormones)
and as I sit here, I feel my mind slowing shutting off.

So, you are just going to have to wait.

Sorry.

Sometimes sleep is the best remedy for a round of wrestling. We will be here whenever you are ready to share. Blessed sleep!

I pray you rest well tonight, Sarah.

At this stage, we have to rest when we can! I'd heard about hot flashes all my life, but NOBODY ever mentioned the INSOMNIA -- which is far worse, in my opinion! I'm doing better these days, but still have problems sleeping well three or four nights a week.

Hope you get caught up on sleep tonight!

Thinking of you, friend. It does stink to get old, in many ways, but we have Him. And our sisters in Christ who pray and offer encouragement. Which I do for you.

So sorry about the hormone-induced insomnia. UGH. Hope you are feeling better tomorrow.

How about some caffeine? Got time for coffee anytime soon? I had a 3:00 am "all lights on in my head" morning this week and never went back to sleep. So, I hear ya!

Oh I hear you. I am nearing my "mid-40's" and hardly sleep at all these days. Praying restless nights sleep are ahead for you!
