Project 365 - Week 47

 Week 47.

This was a great week for me.  A lot of fun going on and building up to my kiddos coming home!!!  Just 2 more days and they all start rolling in......I can.not.wait!!

Alyssa is bringing a friend home for Thanksgiving and then we have several people from church, that don't have family in the area, coming over for dinner on Thursday.  I can not tell you how much I am looking forward to it all!!  I hope you have great plans for Thanksgiving too!!

Here's my week:
Sunday
No picture.

I actually didn't have to work in children's church and was able to go to the main service!   It is missions month and my husband wasn't preaching.  I was so excited to be able to sit WITH him in a service, I completely forgot about a picture!!!
Now, I could have taken one at lunch with our missionary or at life group that night, but so goes the trend of me not getting my camera out...ugh!

Monday

Work was crazy busy today.
This was one of the many lunches I made!!
 Tuesday

My sweet friend, Jessica, had her first baby about a month ago.  I had the privilege of spending the evening with her and holding this precious boy for 2 hours!!!  Be still my heart!!

 Wednesday

Last bible study for this session.
These ladies have blessed me so much!!

 Thursday

I had a coupon for a shutterfly book that was going to expire, so I made one of my 50th birthday.  It came in the mail today and I LOVE it!!!

 Friday

Today I went to Conway to celebrate my friend, Wendi's birthday!!  I got her one of Rita's husband's butter bells and she was SO excited.  Actually this red one is so awesome, I almost wanted to keep it!!!  You can see Mike's pottery here.

My great grandmother's pound cake.
I got started on my Thanksgiving baking today.  I also made cinnamon apples!!

So how was your week? And are you ready for Thanksgiving?

What a fun week !!!

Also, you have my dishes - that is so cool - I also have leaf shaped ones and have the cups for those.
I am so happy that your family will be together this week. Enjoy :)

We are heading to my parents house on Thursday. I am making my Grandma's Queens Cabbage.

Many continued blessings to you.

That cake looks really good - I hope to have a bite of pound cake when we go to NC next week. And pecan pie!

That pound cake looks really good - and considering I just had a big meal and I have a bad toothache, that's impressive!

Love the book of your birthday!

And that baby still makes me smile!

Your birthday book looks great and I'm sure you will go over those memories in it quite a bit! How fun!

That pound cake looks YUMMY. (The roll ups, too.)

My sister is married to a pastor and never gets to sit w/ him, either.

Enjoy your family this week. Half the fun is the build-up before hand, isn't it?

You have always had a way with babies! :)
I would order that wrap from you, but then again you have a way with food too!
Love that you did a Shutterfly book so quickly. That's what I need to start doing.

So fun to see your 50th birthday card! That'll be me in January; we're so close in so many ways.

I've been having the same problem lately. I'll think of my camera right before bed and have to get some "object" picture with no people in it, which isn't really a big deal. But it always happens when I've had a day FULL of great photo opportunities! I guess I just get too caught up and don't want to spoil the natural flow of things by taking a corny picture. I don't know...

I need to make a Shutterfly book!! That could solve my scrapbooking crisis.

Ooooo. The pound cake looks delish! I'm so glad you'll be seeing your kiddos and some friends for Thanksgiving!
