One thing I love doing at the holidays is a cookie exchange.
It is so fun to go somewhere with one type of cookie and come home with an array of types!!!
I was talking about this today with my friend, Angelika. She lives in Germany and we were chatting on FB. We talked about how we both love to bake cookies and wouldn't it be fun to exchange recipes with each other!!!
...and an idea popped into my head!
What about doing a blogging cookie recipe exchange?!!
Would you be up for that?
I thought I would pick a day, have someone help me with a button (I have no idea how to do that) and we could all link up with our favorite holiday cookie recipe and picture!!!
Let me know what you think!!!

Sounds like a lot of fun!
Hey Sara, I'd so be up for that. I'm doing an IRL cookie exchange. My second year for it. It's great fun. This year we're putting a tray together and donating it to the nursing home. Yep, sign me up for this. Blessings, SusanD
I might could be interested in that :).

I do a cookie exchange with ladies from church. Love coming home with 11 dozen different cookies.
So yes - sign me up - sounds like fun !!!
For me it would be no, but only because with my gastroparesis I don't enjoy cooking anymore, or eating for that matter, lol!
I think you should do it anyway.
Hugs & love,
Mimi
aww man...at first I thought you were going to say a REAL cookie exchange. As in pack them up and send them to someone. But this does sound like a lot less work. I'd love to join in!
That would be so cool! I love to find new or different recipes.
Yep ...I'm in.
It sounds like fun, but the only cookie I make is chocolate chip cookies, but I could probably find a good recipe from someone in my family.
I'm in!
Most definately! Always looking for more Christmas cookie recipes.
Definitely!
I "hear" that your daughter's coming home for Thanksgiving; I'm going to my daughter's home for Thanksgiving. "Home" is the link, isn't it?
About the cookies exchange: it's a new twist on the virtual one that I've participated in. However, I don't bake anymore because with diabetes, I eat too much!
I'm in, sounds like fun!
I'd be up for that, Sara. Thanks for hosting!
