Project 365 - Week 11

Week 11.

My week started out with putting out fires....ugh. But ended up great as my 3 co-workers and I finished writing the curriculum for our next unit in children's church.....and it is awesome!!! It is so cool to see God show up when working like that. He has gifted each of us in very different ways and when we come together........it's just plain amazing. I am so privileged to be used by Him in this way...what a joy!

So here's my week:
Sunday

Celebrating the end of our Daniel unit in Children's Church.
These are my Lion cupcakes...cute huh?!

Monday

Seems like I spent most of the morning on this..
...putting out fires. argh.
I even had to take this picture on tuesday b/c I was so busy.

Tuesday
Spring....
...I am SO happy to see you!!!

Wednesday

This is the hail that hit our house tonight!!!
It was CRAZY and a tornado went over us!

Thursday
Starting a new unit this Sunday on Christ the Lamb
we set up the stage of the triumphal entry.

Friday

started a 2-day curriculum writing retreat at 8:00 am today.
I love these 3 ladies that work with me. All 3 have an heart for God and for kids.
It is a joy to work with them!

Saturday

14 hours of hard work, but our curriculum is finished!!!
a 12 week study on the miracles of Christ.
my brain is mush.

So what kind of week did you have?

Those cupcakes are adorable! I wish I had talent to do things like that.

Do you have a crew that makes all your sets or do you and your curriculum team do that? Wow, it looks like a lot of fun for the kids, but a lot of work for someone else. LOL

That is one HUGE hailstone! Glad nothing got damaged.

Awwww..... the lion cupcakes are so cute. Hahaha! I am so technologically behind, I had to guess that Monday's picture was a phone. I'd better get with it! Great work on the curriculum! Way to go!

Cutest cupcakes!
What a cool photo of the Spring flower.
You are SOOOOOO creative! You and your compatriots do such a fabulous job with the Children's Church program.
Bet you would have liked to have thrown that phone away a time or two this week, heh? :-)
Crazy the size of that hail! Did y'all sustain any damage?
Have a wonderful next week!

Wow, what a week!
I love the first signs of spring - it is kinda like a rainbow, a great reminder of God's promises.
But that hail! Hail and a tornado, yep, sounds like spring!

I'm so glad you guys are okay!! Tornadoes are no fun!

What a team!
And what amazing work!
When are you going to publish?
btw, is that empty cupcake wrapper a leftover lion?
I actually made banana-raisin bran-chocolate chip muffins and pumpkin bread this week, for whom? And I never bake! But you, I don't know where you find time to do all you do!

I had to show that picture of the hail to the whole family just now - Everyone is "woah!!!!!!!". We don't see things like that (much less tornadoes) in Oregon. The lion cupcakes are so cute - oh, the children of your church are so blessed!

Cute cupcakes! Do you think our adults doing the Daniel study would enjoy them as much?
That is one huge hail stone! So glad you are ok. I think I prefer our Northern winters to all of the tornado and weird stuff you get.
Have a super week!!

Love the cupcakes. How creative!

Spring...come quickly!

Wasn't that storm crazy?! Our kids were all shaken up over it.

You had a very busy week. Take it easy this time. Is it spring break yet?

I can't believe the size of that hail!!

Praise the Lord you were safe from the tornado.

Have a feeling we're going to have a bad spring with storms - tornados already going through? Scary!
