Joining Linda at 2nd cup for her random dozen!
1. Do you use the labels various charities send you as “free gifts?” yes, if I threw them away they would go to waste and since I didn't ask for them, I feel no guilt.
2. What is your favorite time of day (or night) for skywatching? is that like bird watching? what are you watching for in the sky? obviously I don't have a favorite time of day.
3. What is the most adventurous you've ever been with trying a new food? (Keep it G-rated please)the only think I can think of right now (in my coffee deprived mind) is sweet breads....calves brains.
4. Have you ever heard a rock sing? (Trust me, there's a reason for this one!)hmmmm, have no idea where this is going.....so I'm gonna say no.
5. If you could learn a language you don't presently speak, what would it be?sign language. I took a course years ago but had to quit do to my schedule. I would love to pick it up again.
6. Al Capone's tombstone read, “My Jesus, Mercy.” If you could write your own epitaph, what would it say?we used to laugh that my Aunt's epitaph would read "expired" because it seemed like everything in her kitchen and medicine cabinet was always expired. For me, "How Great is Thy Faithfulness"
7. If you were a famous musician who was known by one name, like “Cher,” “Sting,” or “Jewel,” what would it be? It doesn’t have to be your first name, but it can be, if you’d like. hmmmm, another one I have never even thought about.........I got nothin'
8. Have you ever been inordinately “into” a television show? yep, this is the worst time of year for me...24, LOST, AI......too much on TV to watch!! In the past ER, Hill Stree Blues.
9. When you sneeze, do you go big, or do you do that weird “heenh!” sound that makes people think you’re going to blow your brains out? Any other variation we should know about? I have a pretty quiet sneeze.
10. Do you still read an actual newspaper that you hold in your hands, or do you get your news elsewhere?still get the newspaper every day, but also get news from TV and internet.
11. Are you a good speller? nope...so thankful for spell check!!!

Hi Sara! I understand about being too busy to get to the computer!
About Lost- my television has been fritzzed out for about 3 months, so I've watched zilcho. Last night, I decided to turn that thing on and ba da bing! that box thingy was working and I got several channels (no cable here) sooo, I tuned in to the show everyone and their brother and sister are talking about: Lost.
I watched that long opener that recapped where everyone is from etc. and then I watched, what I think was about 2 hours of the seasoner opener episode...
man am I lost. Is there any hope?
I think this is just gonna be my post for today.
#3 - When I was growing up, my mom used to fix herself scrambled eggs with brains. Talk about vile smelling.
#6 - Oh, I should have said that one! I would love to know ESL.
loved reading your answers!
your #6 reminds me of my grandmother! last year she tried giving me pain meds from 1992!
I'm borrowing # 6 for my mom! She'll get a kick out of that one. I go through her kitchen/pantry regularly to throw away the expired items.
DVR! Love being able to watch my shows on my own terms. Can't miss Fringe and The Good Wife.

Oh, I loved Hill Street Blues too. I still get the adrenalin rush when I hear its theme song somewhere!

My mom served me brains once during a time when I was severely anemic. She mixed it in with scrambled eggs but the red flecks gave it away. Ewwwww! You're a braver woman than I!
