to answer your question, i did slurb my blog over...but i also went in and grabbed some photos from my computer that i wanted to use in place of some others that i took on the same day. however, i do not know exactly what i am doing, so my guess is that you are doing it right and mine is wrong! ha! i am seriously digitally challenged but i eventually figure it out or do things the hardest way possible without knowing it...story of my life! lol. in fact today i re-slurbed it to start a new one just to see if i could do a better job. please let me know if you have any advice for me. thanks.

"The sky is falling! The sky is falling!" lol Not sure why but that refrain popped into my head with this post. Probably seems that way when you get any type of white precipitation that far south.

Yes, very funny! But I wouldn't want to be out on an icy road with a both of southerners sliding around! ;)

haha! yep, that's us alright ;)
i bet all the milk and bread got gone too! we used to close some of the schools around here the night before if they were even calling for snow to start! heehee

Hahaha! I'm still shocked that public schools were closed, but it gave my sister another day at home with her baby.

What are your boys doing for J-term?

that is a riot! although the whole ice thing freaks people out, but with this photo it cracked me up!

They do the same thing in Louisiana. At the first sign of snow, everything shuts down! :)

I certainly do not blame them!
I would want to be in my warm bed too =]

I stumbled on your blog from Becky Jo's. I'm from the Nashville area and you are spot on!

There are two things that are certain when it snows in the South:

1. There WILL be a milk and bread shortage.

2. Schools WILL be closed at the slightest hint of frozen precipitation!

Calling for 2 to 4" here so I've already been to the store...

...for my milk and bread!

Blessings,
Dori

Thank you for giving us permission to laugh :) We're under 10 inches at my house currently with another storm system moving in on Thursday. Don't you miss it??!!

We had a lot more than that here in OH, and we only had a 2 hours delay. lol Actually we probably just have 2-3 inches. You did make me laugh though!

Oh funny Sara! I bet it was fun for all those school kids to be out for a REAL SNOW DAY!!!

Be safe AND WARM!

bahahahaha...When I saw the title of your post, I thought, 'It must have snowed in Arkansas.'

Seriously. I'm FROM Arkansas, and I was thinking, "WHY in heaven's name are there schools CLOSED??!!" So weird. It's like they were desperate to use up some snow days on account of not really using any the past several years.
