Random Dozen

It's a meme kind of week and you are just finding out all sorts of stuff about me!! I am joining Linda at 2nd cup for her Random Dozen today.

1. It's early morning, about 2:00AM, and you're driving home. You come to a red light and sit there. There is no one in sight for miles around. Do you wait it out or run the light? First of all, the likely hood of me being out anywhere driving at 2 am is highly unlikely!! But if I were to venture out and this happened, I would wait a minute and if it didn't change soon......I would run it.

2. If you had the chance to re-do the last 24 hours, would you change anything? yes, I wouldn't have eaten that last piece of chocolate birthday cake after just shredding with Jillian.

3. When you reply to someone's comment on your blog, do you reply in your comments or go to her blog and comment? (Or email her) my first choice is to email, but if they don't have an email attached to their comment then I will go to their blog and answer. sometimes I answer in my comments.

4. Your favorite Disney movie is: From when I was a kid.....the gnome mobile. From recent years.........Mulan.

5. Do you recycle? yes.

6. Games of strategy or games of chance? games of chance....my strategy is all chance anyways!

7. Do you have any recurring dreams? I used to when I was young, I would dream that all my permanent teeth fell out.

8. What did you learn from your first real job? that I still love pizza even when I am making them 5 hours a day! oh, and dropping a pitcher of coke in a customer's lap is not a good thing.

9. Do you buy or borrow most books? I read a lot and I buy, borrow and check out from the library....but mostly probably buy because I like to write in my books.

10. What fashion trend of the past did you say you'd never wear again but did? Hip huggers

11. When do you start Christmas shopping? different times every year....sometimes I am am early and sometimes I am doing it at the last minute.....I am predictably unpredictable!

12. Have you ever been so happy that you literally jumped up and down for a few seconds? If so, what was the occasion? most recently when I found out that one of my best friends and her family were coming to see us for Thanksgiving!!! I could still jump up and down!!!

Head on over to Linda's for other Random Dozen!!

OMGoodness Sara you crack me up with your little wisdomisms!
"The likelyhood of me being anywhere...at 2am..."
"My strategy is all chance anyways!" (I'm gonna steal that, it's golden)
"I like to write in my books." ME TOO!
I am not sure what hip huggers are in your world but that is what I call the 4-8 year old age bracket!
There are the ankle-biters and the neck-breakers too!
"I am predictably unpredicable."
OH heavens I wish I were so surprising!
I get excited about thanksgiving too, but usually my excitement is about the FOOD!!! Can I borrow your Jillian Shred??

1. I could have gone the same direction you did for number 2. HA =/

2. Do you know that there is a Mulan 2? I just saw it at Wal-Mart this past weekend. I never knew.. I wanted to buy it because I l.o.v.e. Mulan, but I decided to rent or borrow first.

3. "My strategy is all chance anyways." HA! Funny.

I laughed out loud when I read on one of your comments that you woke up in the night and yelled "yahtzee." Thanks for sharing that. Blessings, SusanD

I like the movie Mulan too :)

Sara, I love reading these and getting to know you a little bit more.

I laughed when I read about your dream of all your teeth falling...sorry, it probably wasn't so funny when you were dreaming it!

I can relate to #2 I shouldn't have eaten the huge fried burrito for dinner tonight and instead just stuck with the salad. I have a love hate relationship with the fried burritos I make....I hate them because I love to eat them so much! lol

I used to dream that my braces were back on...and when I woke up I was told I had been grinding my teeth!

Glad that stopped!
Have fun with your friends for T-giving!

Oh for goodness sake, I used to dream that all my permanent teeth cracked up- like in the Tom and Jerry cartoons when Tom got hit in the teeth with a board or something- and then fell out onto the floor. What is it with the teeth falling out dream???

All your strategy is chance anyway- that made me laugh.

Wish I'd had your piece of chocolate cake.

The Gnome Mobile, I loved that movie. We had the record, yes I'm dating myself, and used to listen to it all the time. It must have been a Tucson, 1960s movie.
As far as #1, you betcha I've run a light that late at night when there's nobody around.
Happy Birthday, it's nice to know you will always been a year older than me.

Finally the computer all to myself :-) Now I can catch up on reading blogs.

That's a scary recurring dream! Glad you don't have it any more. I waitressed in high school and college and it's funny how the customers don't appreciate food or drink being dumped on them :-) Picky, picky, picky.

I bought some capris recently and the first few pair I tried on didn't even hug my hips -- I kept looking. lol
