Week 44. I can not believe that we are now in the month of November!! There are only 2 months left of this project. I have had several people ask me lately if I will do this again next year........I don't know. It seems like it has become part of my life. Most people around me are used to me whipping out my camera at all times of the day. They are used to hearing me say "hey, you will be my picture of the day!" And yet, at times, it has been daunting too. Trying to remember to take a picture, forgetting to take one of something important to me......so, I don't know if I will commit to doing it again.
What about you?
Here's my week:
Jonah going up before judge Jehova
Jonah is not happy that God has shown mercy to the Ninevites...
..he's presented his case against them..
...and God has presented the cross!
Monday
oh my word...blue sky and SUN!!
I took this through my sun roof in the car.
It didn't last long. :(
Thursday
This is one of my best girls!!
We share a birthday week.
Her mom works with me at church and during our meeting, she drew a picture of ME.
Isn't it awesome?!!
Love this sweet thing!
Friday
We had friends over for dinner tonight.
I decided to make this easier on myself and have everything prepared and chopped before I started cooking (like they do on the TV shows!)
.....totally against my nature!!
but I may have to change my nature!
This picture was the preparation for making this.....
So how was your week?

i am not sure if i am going to do this again either Sara, it is a huge commitment. however, i love looking back and remembering the days! decisions, decisions. i really like Jason's U2 jacket! AND the fact that they iron their own clothes! that's amazing!
Those Dutch Babies look fabulous! What did you put on top of them?
Thank you for the sweet comments lately, and particularly for the comment regarding Brayden's parent conference. It's one of those topics that comes with so much controversy - but when you feel like you've tackled it, struggled with it, and are seeing some success with it - I just couldn't help but celebrate. I so appreciate your encouragement!
I love the picture that the little girl drew of you and she's a cutie too! Love how you prepared for the meal ahead of time...you could sooo be on a cooking show and I especially love the fiestaware...that's what those little bowls are right? I've wanted to do the project 365, but just have been afraid to commit to it yet.
My computer died and it's not fixed yet...still waiting to see if I've lost all of my pictures. :(
Can't wait to be able to upload pictures again. Thankfully, I can use my husband's office computer to check my email and blog.
Thanks for sharing all of your photos....I love seeing them!
I have very similar feeling as you about the Project. I'm leaning towards doing it again...its such little effort for what you get, especially because my kids are changing so much every week.
Mmm...dinner DOES look yummy. Its fun to see how kids interpret what they see...you must wear cute earrings. :)
Oh my, you're making me hungry! But it's so hot I do NOT want to be in my kitchen.
Happy for your sunshine -- now send that rain you've been having this way! lol It still hasn't rained yet although it was supposed to the other night. Ugh. Hard to sleep when it's 80 degrees in the house even with the fans going.
I feel ambivalent about doing the Project again too. I love how it has given me an opportunity to document the year in photos. But I'm still amazed to have actually stuck with it :-) I'm much better at starting things than finishing them. But it has been so much fun so I'm tempted to do it again.
For those with kids, hasn't it been wonderful to just see how they've grown and changed? For me it's been good to look back and see how God has worked this past year as we adjusted and settled in.
Something to contemplate :-)
As always, I enjoy looking at the photos from your week...what you're doing with the kids at church, what's happening during the week...and especially what you're eating! lol
Sara- I would hop right in to do this again. Yes-somedays were- oh no I don't have a picture - like yesterday. Kinda of chessey one. But yet most days I could of had several. People ask me about what the pic will be too. Thanks for taking this on in 2009. I really enjoyed it.
I love these posts because you can honestly FEEL the love in your life while walking through your week. Full of friends and family and good food :)
I cannot believe your boys iron. I don't even iron. They rock.
I'm not sure about doing it again either. At least as an every day commitment. I def still want to document what next year brings... but every day? We'll see. Thanks for hosting this. It's been a great learning experience and I've loved seeing everyone's photos. Blessings, SusanD
Hi,Sara! I've been thinking about next year too. I'm pretty sure I'm not. Although I've really enjoyed this year! Instead I've been thinking about joining Ann Voskamp's Gratitude Community---less of a commitment but still a wonderful challenge of documenting all the blessings God has given me.

lovin' that portrait of you, sara! love this project. you have a blessed life... and are a blessing to others as well. ;)
i always enjoy your pictures. i'm leaning more towards not doing it. i feel like its kept me from blogging during the week like i normally would, because i know i'll be giving a 'readers digest' version of sorts with my pictures at the end of the week. i've people tell me they miss that and would rather me do a few blogs during the week rather than the 365. i may still take a picture a day; i just wont blog them each week.
Great pics. Can I come to your house for dinner?! I hope you post the recipes for Dutch Babies - I didn't see it on her blog.
From the start of the project, I agreed to post weekly but did not commit to perfection. I am more interested in journaling the highlights of the week. Usually I have way more photos than one a day and have to be selective, that too is good. The discipline of posting every weekend has been the best. Will I continue on my own, if I don't have to link up?
Another blessing was meeting all of you in Sara's circle. As a recently new blogger, I came into this 'fellowship' through SIL, Kim.
Would this contact continue without Project 365?
Sounds like we are all considering how to best make use our blog for eternal purposes.
Anyway, Sara, if you host again, I'll be in! Meanwhile, "You are the beast!" (as my students used to say) And you will most definitely be winning one of the Klaytivity unique thrown pots as a thank you.
Wow. Week 44. I am impressed. I just started following but that is SO neat. I love it.
Wow... the food you posted this week looks so yummy! My mouth is watering as I type...
I have had several comments from people who tell me they check my blog for my Project 365 pictures so I think I will probably continue something like it next year. We will see...
Sara, I've been doing my meme for 10 weeks this week, and I am WORN OUT. I don't know how you have done this all this time. My hat is definitely off to you!
I'm so impressed with your ironing boys. Their mom has taught them well!
That dinner looks so good...your friends are fortunate to have friends like you in their life.
I'm impressed that your boys iron! My son tosses something into the dryer to get wrinkles. His attitude is whatever doesn't come out in the dryer is proof that it's meant to be there. ha!
We are seeing the sun today as well...so wonderful to see!
I just got mine posted today so I'm late this time. Sara this has been so much fun I'm going to keep doing it next year. Maybe we can divide up the responsibility of leading it throughout the year. Kind of a pass the baton.
Happy birthday to Jason!
I remember when my grandma taught me to iron. Now I know why. Haha!
Oh I know what you mean about FINALLY getting some sunshine. We finally got ours too and I'm SO HAPPY!
I love the picture that sweet little girl drew of you. I think she captured the essence of your friendly demeanor very well. lol.
I try to remember to do my chopping and measuring ahead of time too. It really does make the cooking part so much easier.
Happy Birthday, Sara!!!!
Hi! I popped over to see your recipe, and saw your 365 post... love it! I have been contemplating it for a while, and I think I am going for it in 2010. I am doing a "week in the life" mini scrapbook album here in the next couple of weeks as a warm-up of sorts.
First - totally impressed that your boys iron their own clothes. That's awesome.
That pasta dish looks like it's to DIE for. You are my fave bloggy friend to get some cookin' inspiration from - and all of your dishes always turn out so good! How come mine don't???? :)
I wish that things were at a place in my life where I could keep up with blogging - and Project 365. I absolutely loved it while I was doing it, and I still love coming here and looking at yours. But yeah - it is a pretty big committment - you've done a fabulous job.
