So Proud

Many of you saw my Saturday picture for Project 365 yesterday.
Jared made 1st chair French Horn for all-region Orchestra. This is the first time that he has competed in this arena. And to be honest, our first time to really hear a HS orchestra. We are more familiar with band.

I was so amazed at these kids.
They are given the music the week before and then come together for an evening and part of a day to put it together. They are playing music a professional orchestra might play and it is really amazing to hear them.
I love it! and am so proud of my son.

Just wanted to give you a little taste.....

So fun. Congrats to your boy.

My girl's tryouts are Saturday. Please pray for her. She picked up her viola yesterday for a few minutes - for the first time since she got sick - and was dismayed at the ground she had lost. We're heading back to the doctor for antibiotics today for an ear infection and I suspect bronchitis.

Darla, it usually takes a really long time. I end up tabbing another page and blog hop while I wait for it...it certainly is not a fast process.
