Project 365 - Week 37

It's week 37. I had a great week and it ended on a perfect note. Steve and I attend a 6 hour prayer summit today that was amazing, humbling, wonderful, emotional, life changing. I will be blogging on it Monday. God continues to work on me in the area of prayer!!

Here's my week.....
Sunday

We had a party today in childrens church to celebrate the end of our summer veggie tales curriculum! One of the moms made this cake...isn't it awesome?!
Now on to Jonah....

Monday

The perfect ending of a good day!
Blue Bell Cookies and Cream!!!
Yum!

Tuesday

One of Jason's friends came over and sat in our chair....
after they left, we realized they left a perfect butt print on the fabric!!
...Even the wrinkles in the pants.....hilarious!!!

Our Youth group is now meeting in our house on Wednesday nights.
They meet in a large group then split up into smaller all over the house.
We had 28 kids plus leaders here tonight!!!
Love it!!

The rest were in the kitchen eating nachos!!!

Thursday

My husband had lunch with friends in a new part of town today.
He looked next door and there was a Tortilleria!!!
This AZ girl LOVES homemade tortillas!
This is a fantastic find!!!

Friday

This is what happens when I get together with my BFF, Wendi
These are Italian Nachos....Oh.my.goodness!!

At dinner, she realized her band shirt (we were heading to the FB game) was on backwards. She was racing to get her shirt turned around before I could get my camera out. She didn't realize my mad skills since I started project 365!!! ha!

Saturday
Steve and I attended a prayer summit today

life.changing

It ended with a sweet, sweet time of communion

So how was your week? Link up and share your pictures!!

Orange Dish!!!!
...oh, God Bless the families who open their homes to the church youth!!! What a group!
So if they split up all over the house, this means you spend all day Tuesday cleaning. Right?

Italian Nachos – I must begin working on the knock-off recipe for this. These look WondERFul!!!

Communion – I don’t think there are any better words than “Sweet Time.”

Love that veggie tales cake!

Looks like a perfect place for kids to meet and eat.

Nachos look yummy.

Fash wears her shirts backwards on purpose, I probably wouldn't have noticed. It's like normal here.

Prayer. Summit. Not exactly sure what that is, exactly. I'll look forward to reading about it.

I'm catching a nachos theme in your week! So cool that you open up your home to the youth group...why do those kids look so YOUNG?!?

Homemade tortillas?! YUM! Your food photos are making me very hungry. LOL I'd like to plow through the whole batch, starting with the adorable Veggie Tales cake with the Blue Bonnet ice cream, because "life is short, eat dessert first" :-) Then a big platter of nachos would hit the spot. Look out young people, hungry middle-aged woman coming through!

Prayer is the fuel to our ministry. Without prayer we'd be going nowhere.

Quite a yummy food theme going on this week, yes? And the result of too much food... leaving your imprint on the sofa. Haha... ;) And yes, this 365 challenge would develop some mad camera skills! Great pix, Sara!

It looks like you had a great week--spending time doing things you were made to do. Being an amazing hostess, cooking, learning, growing, praying... I marvel at you, my dear. Keep shinin' for the Kingdom!

I really must have nachos now.

And I love that you stole a picture of your bff while she switched her shirt. Hilarious.

You are just so much fun, lady. AND inspiring to boot. You rock. :)
