It's week 37. I had a great week and it ended on a perfect note. Steve and I attend a 6 hour prayer summit today that was amazing, humbling, wonderful, emotional, life changing. I will be blogging on it Monday. God continues to work on me in the area of prayer!!
Here's my week.....
We had a party today in childrens church to celebrate the end of our summer veggie tales curriculum! One of the moms made this cake...isn't it awesome?!
Now on to Jonah....
Monday
One of Jason's friends came over and sat in our chair....
after they left, we realized they left a perfect butt print on the fabric!!
...Even the wrinkles in the pants.....hilarious!!!
Our Youth group is now meeting in our house on Wednesday nights.
They meet in a large group then split up into smaller all over the house.
We had 28 kids plus leaders here tonight!!!
Love it!!
My husband had lunch with friends in a new part of town today.
He looked next door and there was a Tortilleria!!!
This AZ girl LOVES homemade tortillas!
This is a fantastic find!!!
Friday
This is what happens when I get together with my BFF, Wendi
These are Italian Nachos....Oh.my.goodness!!
At dinner, she realized her band shirt (we were heading to the FB game) was on backwards. She was racing to get her shirt turned around before I could get my camera out. She didn't realize my mad skills since I started project 365!!! ha!

Orange Dish!!!!
...oh, God Bless the families who open their homes to the church youth!!! What a group!
So if they split up all over the house, this means you spend all day Tuesday cleaning. Right?
Italian Nachos – I must begin working on the knock-off recipe for this. These look WondERFul!!!
Communion – I don’t think there are any better words than “Sweet Time.”

The veggie tales cake is totally adorable!
I've never heard of italian nachos, but they sound very yummy!
Can't wait to hear about the Summit. Sounds exciting!
Looks like you have had an incredible week! These pictures testify of just how much God is moving in your life...so inspiring!
Love that veggie tales cake!
Looks like a perfect place for kids to meet and eat.
Nachos look yummy.
Fash wears her shirts backwards on purpose, I probably wouldn't have noticed. It's like normal here.
Prayer. Summit. Not exactly sure what that is, exactly. I'll look forward to reading about it.
Oh my those nachos look awesome.
How great that you open your open to all the kids. Looks like fun !!1
Anxoius to here about the prayer day too !!
I'm catching a nachos theme in your week! So cool that you open up your home to the youth group...why do those kids look so YOUNG?!?
Can't wait to hear more about your time of prayer!
Homemade tortillas?! YUM! Your food photos are making me very hungry. LOL I'd like to plow through the whole batch, starting with the adorable Veggie Tales cake with the Blue Bonnet ice cream, because "life is short, eat dessert first" :-) Then a big platter of nachos would hit the spot. Look out young people, hungry middle-aged woman coming through!
Prayer is the fuel to our ministry. Without prayer we'd be going nowhere.
Quite a yummy food theme going on this week, yes? And the result of too much food... leaving your imprint on the sofa. Haha... ;) And yes, this 365 challenge would develop some mad camera skills! Great pix, Sara!
OK, and now I am hungry!!! LOVE the butt print, the backward shirt was stinkin funny and you made me soooo miss being a youth leader.
Great week!!
It looks like you had a great week--spending time doing things you were made to do. Being an amazing hostess, cooking, learning, growing, praying... I marvel at you, my dear. Keep shinin' for the Kingdom!
Oh and I'm going to link up even though I'm a week behind!! But I didn't link up last week so maybe it will be all new to you anyway!
Have a great week!
I really must have nachos now.
And I love that you stole a picture of your bff while she switched her shirt. Hilarious.
You are just so much fun, lady. AND inspiring to boot. You rock. :)
Hmmm, there seem to be lots of pics of food this week! Darling cake. But the Blue Bell Cookies & Cream is the best!
And was she driving while she turned her shirt around?! LOL
The nachos look scrumptious! I'm caught up again....the last two weeks are posted. Blessings, SusanD
I got a good chuckle out of the pic of your friend and her shirt...I just posted about a little shirt mix-up of my own.
Can't wait to hear more about the prayer summit.
I always enjoy your photos of your week in review. You are so faithful! What a great journal.
Your weekly photo reviews are always fun, creative, and inspiring. And I'm kinda glad to be the late visitor, I get to read all the other comments.
