This last week, I have found out that another dear friend has been diagnosed with cancer.
Can I just be honest here and tell you that I am angry and sad.
That I want to cry, scream and yell "CANCER I HATE YOU!"
That I feel so helpless as I try to encourage and lift up my friends.
That I am overwhelmed by the number of friends and family that I have currently battling this awful disease........

It hurts so much and I am not even the one doing the battle.
And yet I find it interesting that God has been working on me in the area of prayer. The one thing I CAN do for each of my friends and family is pray.
God's calling me to a deeper prayer life and opening my eyes to what a true intercessor is........is no coincidence. His reminding me that the effective, fervent prayers of the righteous avails much is not just good timing.....it's perfect timing!
And pray I will!

amen & amen...
the saints in our lives have been praying up my great niece Katie and it's wonderful to watch God moving in such a special way...bringing us together, getting outside ourselves and putting others first.
He blesses our obedience @ coming to Him first, humbly knowing HE is the creator, the physician...and CANCER doesn't care who it gets, big/little, old/young...I hate it too and pray it never comes back into my life like it did 10 years ago.
You go, girl, Prayer Warrior is an AWESOME TITLE!!
I'm so sorry that your friends are having to go through this horrible disease, and that you are hurting, too.
I've had friends deal with it and "conquer it", so I'm praying this will be the story in your friends' cases.
My twin brother is fighting a battle with cancer.
PRAY! PRAY! PRAY!!!
Despite cancer and its supreme UGLINESS God is in charge and I am sooo thankful for that.
I will pray for you friend Sara!
Yes, you can! And I can too!
What a great post and a great reminder! Thank you, Sara!
