Phase 4, the ole switcheroo!

I have been working with Linda, at 2nd cup, and many other bloggers to get in shape. Linda started this 30 x 5 challenge and it has been a great motivator for me (most days). Today we start Phase 4, the old switcheroo......where we switch up something in our routine.

Linda couldn't have picked a better time to start this for me and I have the "perfect" switch up........I'm not doing any of it at all!!! :)

No, I am not boycotting Linda's challenge or exercise, I am just on a mini break of sorts.

Yesterday, I dropped my youngest son that the DFW airport (after a 5 hour drive in the rain) to go on a dream trip to Germany with his grandparents!! He was so excited. We met up with my parents and my niece (also going) at the airport (they flew in from AZ) and the two cousins were buzzing with excitement and already planning what games they would play on the 9+ hour flight. Can't wait to hear all about it.

I left the airport and headed to Mansfield, TX to visit with one of my best friends......hence the "not doing it at all" part. Our plan is to hit all my favorite restaurants and food joints!! LR has some great restaurants, but there is nothing like the comfort food of your youth!!

We are getting exercise walking between stores, trying on clothes and lifting jamba juice to our mouths!! The best!

Wednesday, I will be heading to my Aunt's to help clean out her house....I guess I will get emotional exercise there.

So, Linda, I am in for Phase 4, but just won't be able to start until next week!!!

If you haven't joined this challenge before, it's never too late!!! And it is wonderful being challenged, awarded, and held accountable in such a fun way!!!

Did you hear me mention the half dozen yoga tapes I got from the library?
Plus the dog and I walked quite a bit over the weekend, we needed to get out.
It's hard not to burn calories when your listening to Beyonce's Single ladies. Cause if they liked it they should have put a ring on it...
mine liked it and ringed it thankyouverymuch.

Sara - Have a great time with your friend. I got to be with my best friend 3 times last week. Enjoy every minute. How exciting for your son to spend time with his Grandparents in Germany.

I hope there's much laughter with your friend, and that the time and tears with your cousin is sweet.

Oh I see how it is. :( It's because of me isn't it. Because it was my idea to do the old swicheroo thingie. I am so sad. :( Ok not really just play next week when you can.

I began my teaching career in Germany (when it was still West Germany!), and I'm so happy that members of your family are visiting there. What a lovely place, and it's a perfect time of year to go! If I was there, I'd be filling up on weiner schnitzel for sure! You know, switching cheeseburgers for that... ;)

Fun pictures! Your son is going to have so much fun with his grandparents. I hope your house isn't too quiet while he's gone.

Is the picture with your friends taken at the new mall on Chenal? I haven't been yet.

Lovely hat! I know it's hard to go through your aunt's things. I hope you enjoy all the pretty treasures she's left for you!

I wish I could have coffee like that every morning. How wonderful!
