Of course, I have to show pictures and video!! There will be extra video for the grandparents, but I hope you will enjoy it too!
I am so proud of my boys. Our band is very small, we are a small Christian school, but they have a big sound!! My boys sat next to each other in the HS band, which made getting a picture somewhat easier but I still couldn't get close enough...oh well.
Jason is in the middle with the glasses. Saxophone player
This first video is of the Jazz Band. First you have to know that the video was taken with my camera....not the best mic. Second, just as Jason is getting up to play his solo, the band director moves to her right....right in front of my camera!!!! I made a mad scramble to move to the left (lucky the chair was empty) but it made for a very jerky, well very jerky video....sorry!
This next video is a sax ensemble playing a rendition of Amazing Grace, put together by one of the students. Jason is 2nd from the right.
This last video is of the high school band. Jared received an award for Best Freshman Player!!! I wish you could have heard them in person, they were amazing! of course, I am biased!
And to both sets of grandparents out there........I hope you enjoyed these videos........they took me forever to upload!!!

Congrats to both of you of the Awards you received
Awesome music! Those are some talented kids!!
I'm jealous that you are able to get your videos uploaded. I've got 2 on my phone that I keep trying to upload but I get error messages. Darn technology...ha.
Sara what a great event. You have a lot to be proud of. I am sure the grandparents LOVED it!
As a grandparent, I'm sure they enjoyed this post. Thanks for sharing.
You have every right to be one proud mama!
Loved the music and way to go Jared!! I do like your new look too. Blessings this weekend!!!
Loved the Amazing Grace one!
Wow! For a small band, they are excellent! You have a right to be proud of your boys, too. They're good! I especially enjoyed the Amazing Grace arrangement. Lovely.
