Project 365 - Week 14

Week 14. How many of your guys are still with us? I want to encourage those of you who have not been able to take pictures everyday to jump back in if you want to...there are no rules here!

Just the joy of documenting life!!

The last couple of weeks have been hard for me. I want to thank all of you again for praying for me and my family. It is such an amazing thing to be able to throw a prayer request out there and know it will be lifted up by so many. I really treasure the fellowship I have found in the blogging world!!

I am beginning to come out of the fog a bit. It is strange to me how I can be fine one minute, laughing and enjoying life, and then something hits a trigger and I am in tears. I hope to start back blogging on Monday, but please hang with me...some days are still really tough.

here is my week:

Sunday

Mary Nelle Grusendorf
January 14 1931 - March 29, 2009
My sweet Aunt stepped into her Savior's arms!
.... on her favorite day of the week!

Monday

The family together reminiscing
it felt so good to laugh!

Tuesday

The funeral was perfect!
It was a beautiful tribute to a wonderful, godly woman.

Wednesday

One last goodbye.

Thursday

ahhhhh......
Wow, does this feel good!
Lily is happy I am home too! :)

Friday

My son playing a song he wrote at the high school talent show.

Saturday

A beautiful day for a wedding.
These are our good friends Leah and Steven
Married at Garvan Gardens, AR

This is a magnificent chapel.

The park was exploding with color!!
It was just wonderful!!

Now it's your turn!!! Can't wait to see what has happened in your week!

I’m still with you @ Week 14!!

This is a repeat/rewind, but your aunt is a very beautiful woman! Physically: That’s a given.
:-)
And you resemble her so much – it’s the smile. And I am so grateful that you were able to introduce us to her spiritual beauty as well through the ministry of your blog.

THURSDAY: Love This. If I had my way . . . this would be my shot of the day everyday. Relax, my friend. RELAX!

So sorry to laugh (yes. . . I’m LoL) I can’t help but think, “Three Weddings and a Funeral.” So sorry. But you did say it was good to laugh!

Wonderful and memorable photos this week.

Have a wonderful Lord’s Day tomorrow!

Love the pictures. And so glad you got some downtime to relax after it was all over. And a wedding to celebrate. Life is full of ups and downs, isn't it?!

Hugs to you!

i've been to that chapel!!! we visited some friends in AR when i was 15 or 16, and they took us to that place so we could see how pretty it was. i distinctly remember the woodwork and those huge windows behind the stage area(pretty much the exact picture you took). too funny!

I had a bad week with pics missed a day and two on another.
Joel & I are going through a really rough time with our daughter. Things I can't even say on here because I can't bear to tell my parents and they read my blog.
Today I could use your prayers.
Thanks!

A beautiful celebration for a beautiful aunt!

I need some days of rest and relaxation just like that. I love how the laundry basket is just within your view, but you're not touching it. Way to go!

I heard about the talent show. What fun! Mere wants to do it next year.

Project 365 has been so fun and such a blessing to me. Thank you for the reminder that this is about the joy of documenting life! It's not about doing it a certain way or the way everyone else does. I needed that!

Still here with you!

Beautiful pictures this week full of memories for you.

LOVE that chapel. Oh my goodness, so incredible.

I'm still doing the project and am so THRILLED about it. It's been such an incredible blessing and a really good way to get to know others, too. Nothing like getting a peek at some "real life".

That is such a beautiful picture of your aunt and how cool that she is praising with "Hosanna", face to face!

The tulips are amazing.

Lovely, lovely photos! The last photo of flowers just made my heart happy :-) That's a beautiful church where the wedding took place. Wow! So glad to read how the day of the funeral was perfect. A very full week, and exhausting I know. Praying for some respite and rest for you!

Oh, I'm a failure! I enjoy your pics, though, Sara.

Sara, I love all your photos. That wedding at Garvan Gardens, AR looked so neat. Looks like such a beautiful place.

I know I'm joining in late and don't have many pictures for this week. But thank you for welcoming me anyway.

Now I'm off to check out everyone else's photos.

Still here, Sara, even though I'm sort of hit-and-miss. But I'm putting up my post now...

What a week - I know it had to be so emotionally draining for you, yet so beautiful in the knowledge that she's with her Jesus. I hope you are able to get some much-needed rest this coming week.

Still have got to remember to haul along the camera! The tribute to your Aunt was beautiful. Last year was our year for weddings. I can only think of one that we have this year.

Sara, thanks for sharing your week in pictures with us. It's so neat how the pictures tell a story! I loved them all, but was so excited to see the one of you lounging in the chair. I hope you had a nice cup of tea or whatever you pleasure is.

I'm glad to hear you are laughing amongst the tears here and there, laughter is such good medicine! That reminds me....I saw that you watched the video I posted today and I'm so happy that you got a good laugh out of it! I thought it was hilarious!

Tears are healing also....it's so good to have a release. Grieving is a slow process that only time will heal. Don't worry about blogging until you're up to it. All of us bloggy friends aren't going anywhere....we're still here thinking of you, aching for you and praying for you! You just keep hangin' in there! :)

I'm still here... just a little late this week(s). Thank you for sharing everything about your aunt. She is beautiful. Your tribute, touching. What a busy, joyful, heart wrenching week. Your strength amazes me. I just finished watching Facing the Giants and you cause these words to echo in my mind...

"Tell me, what is impossible with God?"

"Nothing."

God bless!
