Project 365 - Week 5

It's week 5 for Project 365!!!  Hope you guys are still doing good with it.  I did much better this week about getting my camera out of my purse!  Sundays seem to be the hardest day for me because we are constantly on the go till bed time!  What is the hardest day for you?

Here's my week:
Sunday
This is what my kitchen looked like as I was turning off my light to go to bed!

Monday
Aahhhhhhhh!!!
That is much better!!

But I have to say that it is really a pain to come home from working, where I cook and clean dishes, to having to clean your horribly dirty kitchen....then cook dinner!
I hope I have learned my lesson!!!

Tuesday
We had an ice day and got the rare chance to enjoy a fire in the fireplace!

Tuesday
We also taught the boys to play euchre
the score cards say Jared and I are smokin' Jason and Steve!!

Wednesday
Jason had so much fun playing euchre,
he cleaned the kitchen after dinner so
we would have time to play it again!

Thursday
One week and counting!!!

Friday
The things we do to be beautiful.....
.....or in my case to not have grey!!!

Saturday
My boys on their way to the winter formal
Are they handsome or what?!

Jared and his date

Okay, can't wait to see all your pictures!!!  Link up below and join the fun!!!

Love your pictures! And my kitchen doesn't look that clean when it's clean! LOL

Your kitchen and dining room are so pretty! I love the colors (and the cleanliness).

I don't think I have taken a picture on a Sunday yet! I find that if I clean my kitchen at night, things go better the next morning (since I am not a morning person)!

Sunday must be my toughest day too. I missed it completely last week.

Ahh a clean kitchen feel SO good doesn't it?

Wednesday - Haha! That's the way to get out of cleaning up the kitchen. Get them addicted to a game! LOL.

The guys look great! Loved your photos this week.

What great pictures! Your boys look fabulous -- hope they had a great time :-)

Ice days are good for something, huh? LOL Actually, playing cards is a favorite at our house, too. We like Hand & Foot played with 5 decks. Familiar with it?

I must confess I often leave dirty dishes overnight. When you don't eat until 10 p.m. or later, it's just hard to work up the energy to do them!

MAN, your kitchen is clean. Yeah, your dirty pic is pretty stinkin' close to my CLEAN one! But your kitchen is very lovely too!

And, goota love a fella that cleans the kitchen!

I love your pictures. Your sons are VERY handsome! My son thinks dances are gross and refused to go to his Winter Formal. :( I miss having my girls to play dress up with. LOL

Loved it, Sara. We have very similar kitchens, but your counter top is much better. Mine's old. I'm also impressed that you asked someone to take the pic at the salon! You're serious about this, aren't you?! And the son on the right in this pic looks eerily similar to my son.

Love your before and after pictures of your kitchen! You have some great material for taking pictures. Sometimes I find it difficult to find anything photo worthy!
Thanks for hosting this!
Love,
Angie xoxo

I'm glad to see someone else just leaves the kitchen and goes to bed sometimes. Its against any "rule" I've ever read, but I hit a wall at night, but am ready to tear into the day in the morning.

Love playing cards as a family. That will be one nice thing about the kids getting older...graduating from Candyland!

So excited about your trip!

I just wanted to come by and say congratulations for being one of the Internet Cafe's Top 100 Christian Women's Blogs of 2008! You are truly a blessing. Thank you for the many ways that you serve!

Wow, Sara! Congratulations on your recognition from Internet Cafe! What an honor. And you deserve it, too. :-)

Your pictures are great...I have left my kitchen like that more times that I'd care to admit, but I always regret it the next morning. It's amazing how much of a difference it can make on the start of my day to walk into a clean kitchen vs. a dirty one.

And your boys are very handsome! What an exciting time for you. :-P Great week!

Hey Sara, Love your pics this week. Especially your calendar. That's great that you and your friends are all getting to take that cruise together. My photos won't be posted until tomorrow. I was getting ready to upload them to my laptop and the battery died. Actually, my screen said, "Battery Exhausted." That's kinda how I feel too...exhausted. Blessings, Susan

Your boys are so handsome! And the kitchen...yep, mine looks like that first one most nights when I go to bed. I usually tackle it in the morning.

I promise I have not bailed on Project 365, but we are still trying to shake this sickness, and so I haven't had much time or motiviation to take pics. This week will be better!
