I got up this morning after laying awake for hours in bed praying and began reading my bible. I am reading through the bible this year chronologically. I was a day behind and this is what I read today...
speaking of God:
His wisdom is profound, his power is vast. Who has resisted him and come out unscathed? He moves mountains without their knowing it and overturns them in his anger. He shakes the earth from its place and makes its pillars tremble. He speaks to the sun and it does not shine; he seals off the light of the stars. he alone stretches out the heavens and treads on the waves of the sea.....He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.
....and then the peace came. This is my God and Jason's God and He will take care of him.
this certainly was not in my plan (right Ohilda?! She had a great post on this if you haven't read it), but I am going to leave it in His hands and trust Him to take care of my son.
So I got him on the plane. He kept telling me he felt fine, just a sore throat. But this is my ADD child who never sits still and he was very calm. I am hoping that he will sleep the whole way and be ready to go when they get there. The other kids were very cool about his mask he had to wear and didn't make him feel self conscious...it's a great group of kids.
I hope this didn't ramble, but I am extremely sleep deprived right now and think I will go take a nap. Thanks again to all of you for your prayers. As Rachel recently said "I knew you had my back" and I appreciate it more than I can say!!

I think he looks bad***. He looks like he's trying to hide himself so adoring fans don't recognize him. *GASP* he could be a Jonas Brother...LOL
I'm so glad to hear of your peace. He is so good to us. Praise God.
I got your comment...it's been changed. The loulou blogs come with the colors mapped out...so I tweeked it. Now it's in brown and the side bar stuff is pale yellow. Let me know if that helps.
I just caught up here. I'm so glad you came to a place of peace and he's feeling a little better. He WILL be okay. He will! I hope you got a nap. Ugh, the mothering job is never easy and never done, huh? From potty training to traveling to Spain sick and all that's in between and after. Thank God we have HIM to get us through.
I did not realize until this moment that you needed prayer; somehow I missed your former post. However, now that I know, I will be praying that your son will regain his health and enjoy his trip.
Praising God. You go get your rest and know that your baby could not be in better hands, he's in God's hands!
Big hugs,
Ohilda
PS I hope he's not mistaken for Michael Jackson...tee hee hee!
Tough tough decision as a mom. Can't say I'd know what to do myself. But God is GOD and we serve him -- he cares for us -- all is to His Glory. Who knows what situation this predicament will bring -- if God is in it, only His Kingdom benefits. Right?
My prayers go overseas with him.
Stay in the WORD!

In 24 hrs after that antibiotic sets in, he'll be OK. But I sure get your mom's heart on this one.
Just caught up with you girl but I am thankful you have put things in God's hands and feel His peace! Get some rest! ;)
Isn't it great to know that God "has his back"? I'm sure he'll do great and have many awesome memories to share. I'm thinking the mask will make people wonder if he's a celebrity. I can hear the whispers now. :)
