Home and almost coherent!

I arrived home Tuesday night after 2 very long days of travel.  It was so good to be home!!!  How great it feels to sleep in your own bed!!!  I am still trying to get back on my own time zone...I woke up at 2:30 am on Wed and today I woke up at 4:30am.  Each day it gets a little better.

My trip was absolutely perfect and wonderful.  On the way home, my mom and I talked about how God blessed every part of this trip.  It is rainy season in Italy and we had perfect weather.  It might be pouring rain while we were in the van traveling somewhere, but as soon as we arrived at our destination, it would completely clear up!  The owner of the cooking school starting calling us "lucky" at the end of the week...my answer.....It's all in who you know!  It actually brought up some good discussion about God!

It seemed like we would "randomly" meet just the right person who would either get us in to see something we normally wouldn't be able to see or would connect us with someone else that would help us along the way.  God was so good to us!!!

Over the next few days, I am going to be posting some of my favorite pictures...not necessarily in order....from the trip.  I hope you enjoy them!

this is a man we met who carved alabaster.  Here is is hand carving a vase that I got to bring home.

The history and the beauty in the cathedrals was wonderful.

market place in Venice.  I so wanted to bring back one of these red pepper bouquets!!
I will miss sitting at these little cafes, people watching!!!

St. Marks Basilica in Venice.  It took 100 years to build.  Beautiful!!

Can't wait to see all the pictures. I am so glad you had a wonderful time. Was this your first visit there? We are considering a trip there this spring. When you are more coherent maybe I can get details! :)
