Flu....yuck!

Well, we have the flu in our house. I took Jared to the doctor's, thinking and hoping he had strep. The strep test came back negative and she says that she would like to test him for the flu. I thought "okay, he doesn't have the flu, but whatever"....wrong! He had the flu and I was shocked. We have caught it early enough that we can put him on Tamaflu (sp?) and reduce the time. She also put the rest of us on tamaflu. I have had a flu shot, but she said that it really only lasts 3 months and since I got it in Oct., I should go ahead and take the tamaflu. Who knew they only lasted 3 months?! I had never heard that before. So, here we are...praying it goes no further than Jared!!!
