Project 365 - Week 8

 Week 8.

Here's my week!
Sunday
This sweet boy let me pull his first tooth today!!!  It was so loose and he wouldn't let his mom.  I know I am weird, but I love to pull teeth!!

Monday
 Is this precious or what?!!
I took a meal to this family tonight and got to snuggle this sweetheart!

Tuesday
My friend, April arrived today.  We leave tomorrow for my girl's weekend.  Sadly, Wendi can't go, so we had dinner with her tonight.

Wednesday
If you remember a post I had in December....I love, love boiled peanuts!!
We stopped to gas up the car today and they had a big crock pot of them.....I am in heaven!

Thursday
There are so many things that I love about my friends.  But the most important is that they each love Jesus with all their hearts.  It is amazing to get up in the morning and have everyone deep in study of God's Word first thing.

And of course, we have lots of yummy food...although this year has gone a bit "healthy".

Friday
Today, some of us went down to the river to walk and then came home to watch the series, Downton Abby, on PBS.   Kim made us Thai Peanut shrimp for dinner.

Saturday
Today was hilarious.
We wanted to get a picture before Susan left at noon.  Her sister came to pick her up and we quickly went out on the screened in porch to grab a picture.....the one below.

However, when the door got shut...it locked.
We were 7 women out on the porch, no key, NO PHONES.
We tried to yell for the neighbors to no avail.....
we tried to take the hinges off the door to no avail....
it finally took Kim and April (new names, MacGyver) to jimmy the door lock with a windchime piece.  I know....we are amazing!!1  :)

Link up and share your week!!!

I've never had boiled peanuts. I'm sure I'm missing out.

That's hilarious about being locked out! Y'all will be talking about that for years!

I HATE pulling teeth. My kids pulled every one of their own. Shudder. (Go figure - I'm an RN. Everyone has their thing that creeps them out, even doctors and nurses!)

You look so radiant and beautiful! What a wonderful group of friends.
I never heard of boiled peanuts. Is it a southern thing?
I just started watching Downton Abbey this week. The night Leah went to ER and I was up waiting for text updates, I must have seen three or four episodes.

too funny, glad you are not still stuck on the porch.

That tomato salad looted too wonderful.

Time with friends away studying God's word....drooling and totally jealous.
We talk about it from time to time but my small ground can't seem to get our ducks or our schedule on the same page.

Looks like a great week! That is so funny about the picture on the porch and getting locked out! Plus, it just goes to show you that women can usually get out of any situation that they are in! yay!

My hubby was the official tooth-puller for a boy in our church who wouldn't let his mom touch his. I'm the tooth-puller (so far) for our kids, but only one is loosing teeth, so who knows how it may all come out. Love seeing your P52 posts.

I always love hearing about y'all's infamous girl's weekend. This one turned out to be a doozy, huh?! Love the porch pics! Made me giggle.

I commend you for your fast, btw. Will be praying for you, friend.
