Project 365 - Week 47

Week 47!!!

Can you believe we only have 5 weeks left of Project 365?

At the beginning of the year, it seemed so daunting....and now we are almost finished! I am still thinking of a good prize for the last week for those who have persevered to the end!!! So don't give up! We are so close!

Here's my week:
Sunday

We celebrated the end of our Jonah unit at church today with these whale cupcakes....

The kids were surprised to find a gummy Jonah inside!!!

Monday

Jared got his braces off today....Woo Hoo!!!

Tuesday

So sad to finish this study today.
This was one of the best I have done in a long time..
..and it totally ministered to my heart!

Wednesday

made the Pioneer Woman's lasagna today...
A.ma.zing!!!!

Thursday

Got my saliva test results back today.
I kind of thought I would get more than a 1/2 page for the $$ I spent.
But apparently it is enough to figure things out...
..one can only hope.

Friday

I just got 100 of these Xmas cards FREE today!!!
go here to find out how you can too!

Saturday

I wrangled Jason and his best friend to help move some furniture today.
No, they are not taking it outside...
We live on a hill and this was the easiest way to take this piece (my grandmother's) from the top floor to the bottom!!

Now let's see your week!!!

You know what you've started, don't you Sara? Everyone who sees this post is going to have to make lasagna this week! lol It looks so delicious.

Did you make the boys move the furniture before you let them have any lasagna? hahahaha One way to get 'em to work :-)

You take such great photos, week after week. Kudos to your photography skill!

Handy to have big, strong boys around!

Love the gummy worm idea.

I have not done the Stepping Up study, but its always a good sign when you are sad that's its done. What's next?

Hmmm, I'm wondering what a saliva test would tell...that I still eat too much sugar despite my best intentions? I love Beth Moore studies. My favorite of all of hers was Believing God, although I haven't done The Stepping Up one. Our church just has Bible Studies on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m., and of course, I'm teaching then. Perhaps when I retire.

the lasagna looks amazing... I still need to get that recipe book!

I haven't forgoten that you asked for the hand and foot rules... I am still trying to find the right rules... there are so many games out there and none are like the way we play. I will try to get it to you this week.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Sara, I'll have to check out that bible study.....I love Beth Moore's studies, they're awesome! Looks like you had a great week, the cupcakes are cute and look yummy. I hope your test results gave you the answers you needed.

In your comment that you left me you mentioned that you fried your turkey last year....that's what we usually do and oh man....I think it's the best way to cook a turkey, but this year I decided to try something new. The jury is still out on this one though! I'll have to check out the lasagna recipe that you mentioned....I've always just used my own recipe, so maybe I should give it a try. :) Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

What an interesting week you had! I've been wanting to make that lasagna (the calories!) and do that Bible study. Tell your boy he looks great with his braces off. Money well spent, right? Have a great Thanksgiving. I can't wait to get together at Christmas!
