Project 365 - Week 46

Week 46!! I just got back from a team planning weekend for children's ministries. We spent 2 1/2 days planning and writing our curriculum for the spring........and my brain is mush.

........I have no more words....seriously.

Here's my week:
Sunday

I have a love/hate relationship with my phone tonight.

I love my phone, love having my calendar right there with me and all other aspects of it.
However, tonight when I tried to sync it up with my computer so I would have a backup copy, it accidentally erased ALL my contacts and ALL my appointments!!!
ARGH!!!!

Monday

I got to meet the Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond tonight!!
Go here to read all about it.

Tuesday

My son came home unexpectedly and caught me exercising....
.......he had a laughing fit when he saw me using can goods for my weights!
He said "food is in every part of your life, mom"
or something like that.....
...and proceeded to run get my camera so it could be my picture of the day...

.....I didn't have the heart to tell him that I am just cheap.

Wednesday

I worked child care at the church tonight and we watched this movie. I hadn't seen it in a long time and it just amazes me the creativity that some people have...all the details. I think you could watch it 10 times and not see everything!!!
On a funny note, the Korean church that meets in our building was there last night. Some how they didn't know we were there and when they left, they locked up and set the alarm. Well, as soon as these little munchkins started moving......the alarm went off!!!
Always and adventure!!

Thursday

Left tonight to come to a friends lake house.
our children's ministries team is meeting for the weekend to plan/write the spring curriculum.
Tonight is just relaxing......ahhhhhhh!

Friday

This is the view we woke up to this morning!

Saturday

A wonderful friend that moved 2 years ago just happened to be in Hot Springs, where we were, this weekend at art show!!!
So fun to be able to see her and hug her neck!
don't look at me, that is my fried brain, too tired look!!

You're Next!!!

I love your weights, what a great idea.
Your weekend sounds like fun. And what a great place to be at.
Thanks again as always for your prayers. He has now changed her phone number and her email. Her friend went to see her because she could not get a hold of her. She told the friend what he did. Now I have no way of contacting her.

Great pics. Those are some tanned and buff shoulders!

My grand-girls and I were using bottled water for weights for a while. I suppose your canned goods weigh more though. I broke down and bought some real 3 lb weights and the girls think that is so cool. LOL!

I love your Friday picture! Makes me think of the Holy Spirit hovering over the waters.

You look great in all your pictures!

Vegetables are good for more than eating :-) We use frozen peas or corn for ice packs. lol

I'm glad you've got the curriculum hammered out for another quarter. Beautiful place to plan!

Sooooo sorry about the phone catastrophe! Hope one of the techy people in your life can figure out how to get it back!!!

I have a love/hate with my blackberry too. I've had 4 different ones in just over a month. On my most recent one, I can't get the software to recognize it so that I can sync things up, and the internet won't work on it. argh!

Creative idea on the weights. Love it!

I know how those tired brain weeks go. Hopefully you can get a nap in to get yourself caught back up again.

I am continually amazed at the time, effort and prayer that you and your group put into your children's ministry. You are sowing so many seeds and only when you get to heaven will you know how far-reaching your efforts were.

Your arms look like you've been faithful with exercise. Are you still doing Jillian?

I think that's pretty smart using food cans for weights. Loved the lake photo. Beautiful.

Who is Jillian? I used to do Denise Austin till she quit :6, then Body Works till i damaged a deltoid, or was that my escuse?
Did i read that you were exercising at 'midnight'?!
The Robots movie looks like fun, especially my husband's work with a robotics team.

I love that view, Sara, and meeting up again with a friend--how special.

sync'ing can sometimes be difficult...and quick...it sure doesn't take long to delete everything...please tell me you already had a backup of an earlier backup ... praying!

Meeting someone famous, like Ree Drummond is fun

Canned goods make very good weights...good for you! Very cost effective...he won't laff when he goes to buy a weight machine one day

I think I have seen it at least 10 times...

My prayer group set off our alarm
one night...scared us to death...had to call mtce b4 the police came

Lake houses are THE BEST aren't they...
Great week...thanks for sharing :D

I have those same weights!! Love em!

And I am not even gonna talk about how jealous I am that you got to meet Ree ... nope, not gonna say a THING!

I have used cans for weights, too. :) haha (Well...that would imply that I actually exercise and the truth is that I haven't done so in a very long time.)

Sara, I had to laugh because I have been guilty of the can dumbbells myself and hey they work great! lol Love the picture that you woke up to with the beautiful fog. Sounds like you've been a busy girl...hopefully you will be able to take a day and just veg and rejuvenate! Thanks for sharing your pics with us. :)
