Friday Fill-ins
Yea! It's Friday!!! And I am glad to have this busy week over with!
1. So are we going to ever see the end of this rain?
2. blood work, saliva testing is what's up ahead for me to figure out how to control these symptoms of menopause. I hope it works!!!
3. I love to cook this time of year....hearty food is so fun!
4. Reading is a form of relaxation of some sort I wish I had more time to do it.
5. I walk a thin line of the right amount of exercise to be able to eat whatever I want.
6. Jesus Christ is the true elixir of life!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to watching the marching band and football, tomorrow my plans include taking my son to try out for the Little Rock Youth Symphony and Sunday, I want to worship God and rest (and worry about my son as he travels with the youth pastor & friends to OK for the U2 concert, please pray for safe travel. They will be coming home very early in the morning)!
Happy Friday!!!

#5 made me laugh!
#2 - aww, but I'll take saliva testing over what I have to do next week!
blood work and saliva testing sound like no fun at all...I hope it helps figure something out for you though.
Have a great weekend!
Sara, I pray you get the right results to figure this out... I know it can't be fun. ((hugs)) Hope you get to relax this weekend too. ;)
Oh, this looks like fun! :)
I like that you put Jesus Christ is the elixir of life!
BTW, I, too enjoy meeting another Sara(h). :) I've always said w/o the "h", the name looks 'naked.' ;) Hehe!
BLESSINGS!
Ok, I'm back - two more things.
1. I think it's AWESOME that your son is trying out for orchestra!!!!
2. I Heart Marching Band, too...and I miss it so!
Amen to number 6
Hi Sara - stopped by from Sarah's blog.
I am close to your age (okay...a little bit older but not 50 yet!) :-), and have been a minister's wife since 1990. I love finding kindred spirits! lol
Your blog is wonderful!
I relate to number 1. I am CRAVING some sunshine. I love your number 6 too. Jesus is definitely the true elixir of life. I wrote love on my #6 since the scripture says "For God is love". I enjoyed your post. Hope you have a blessed weekend.
#3 and #6 resonated with me. Hope the saliva comes back negative.
Have a great weekend and don't worry about the youth group.

I have been craving reading lately. I started a book, but haven't had time to pick it back up. I vow that next week I will get back to reading. It's funny how much I miss it.
Can I just mention that I'm super jealous of your son? I can't help it, seeing U2 is a dream of mine!
I of course hope you don't worry too much and that they have safe travels.
