I love Wednesdays!!!
That's when I join Linda in her blogging carnival and get to know a little bit more about each of you guys!!!
So, answer my questions and then head over to Linda's and answer hers!!!
Even better.....join in and link up!!!
1. What is your earliest memory?
2. How would you describe yourself as a child
3. What one thing are you craving today?
4. What CDs are in your car or home stereo right now?
My answers:
1. I think I was about 3 or so. We lived in Ft. Huachuca, AZ (very hot most of the year) and it snowed. My mom got me some snow to eat in a bowl, but I had to go to the bathroom first. When I came back, the snow had melted and I just sat down and cried and cried!!
2. I was a very happy and confident child....and loud.
3. summer weather.
4. Sara Groves, the sound track from Hair spray and Mercy Me..in my car.

1. What is your earliest memory? Being chased by a rooster when I was 2 or 3 and having my Uncle Oscar scoop me up and set me high on the fence. Have never liked chickens since. LOL
2. How would you describe yourself as a child? Shy, introverted, scared of my own shadow, sickly until I finally got my tonsils out. Nothing like I am today! I think it came from being shuttled among relatives for a few years.
3. What one thing are you craving today? Silly question! Chocolate, always chocolate :-)
4. What CDs are in your car or home stereo right now? Don't have a stereo system in either. Haven't bought a new CD in years. My DD put a mix of music from older CDs on my iPod, does that count? Celtic, country, Christian, classical.
Oh, forget to tell you Sara, the sign is hand painted. Ours is a pretty small piece, maybe a foot wide, but we've seen some of his bigger work in businesses in the area where the street fair is held. Wow! He's a pretty talented guy. And I love that we'll have a little reminder of this house wherever we go in the future :-)
1. I don't know what my earliest memory is... but I do remember when I was about 5 tumbling out of my grandfather's pick-up while he was on a veggie delivery run. Not fun. The semi behind us had me running like Forrest Gump as soon as I hit the ground! :)
2. Shy & quiet.
3. Apparently, water. I just came from Linda's. :)
4. At the moment... nothing. Gasp! I know. I haven't listened to many cd's lately. It's been the radio for this girl.
1. I remember my grandfather giving me a stuffed raccoon for Christmas when I was 1 1/2. He was so proud because (I found out later he picked it out himself). I loved it so much and I wonder what happened to it.
2. I was loud, extroverted, and a performer. I don't think a whole lot has changed. :)
3. Believe it or not, I'm not really craving anything right now. But that will probably change within the hour.
4. Veggie Tales Sunday school songs, Veggie Tales toddler songs, and a couple of Jeremy Camp albums.
Sorry, Sara, but I cannot stop to answer the questions today. I know you understand. Thanks for the prayers. Me too!
Great answers. I wish I could remember this each week! I want to do this meme.
1. A therapist asked me this question once. Sadly, it is not a happy memory. When I was in kindergarten there was a tornado in LR. The school was mostly windows, so all the students had to take cover in the tiny bathroom. So scary.
2. Pretty much the same as now. Shy, introverted, always thinking. Very serious, usually.
3. Coffee. Always coffee!
4. Just bought Third Day "Revelation." I also have a new Brandon Heath song. Love them!
1. Strange as it is to say it I think it is asking Jesus to be my Savior in the back seat of my parents car. I think I was about 3!
2. Confident, happy, and probably a bit snotty. :)
3. The weekend! (We are going camping)
4. Casting Crowns. EVERYWHERE!
1) I remember kindergarten and taking a rest on our red and blue mats.
2)I was a very social child, loved to talk to the adults and I'm still talking.
3)I just cam in from working the the flower beds. I could really go for a blue uv and lemonade. Ever had one????
4) I have the best of REO, Journey
Phantom of the Opera and Lincoln Brewster.
Thanks Sara, I look forward to this every Wednesday.
1. I'm not really sure. Probably around 3-5 years old and my sister kept making a cricket jump at me and I kept backing up and the seat was up on the toilet and I backed into it and fell in.
2. I talked all the time and giggled a lot evidently. I was called Chatty Cathy and Gigglebox both.
3. I just had it. Ice Cream.
4. I don't have any in right now. I took them out for the trip. But I had Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir in before we left. Usually though, I listen to a local Christian Station or KLove while at work.
By the way Sara, I love your haircut in your Profile Picture!!!
Sarah I am craving summer too....& Italy! ;)
1. I was around 3 and standing outside the house my dad was building. I was looking up at him on the scaffolding and hoping he wouldn't fall. I was mesmerized. That was our house he was building, and my parents still live in it, 31 years later :)
2. I was talkative and hyper-active. Go figure.
3. Chipotle. Every day.
4. I have Sara Groves and a bunch of kid cd's in the car
