WYAW

My good blogging friend, Linda at Growin' it, hosts this great carnival. I have LOVED doing it and getting to know all ya'll better. So answer my questions and then head over to Linda's and see who else is playing!

1. Are you a neat freak or messy?

2. What is your favorite devotional book?

3. What is your favorite candy?

My answers:

1. I am far from a neat freak.......I have gotten better the longer I have lived with my neat freak husband, but I can definitely walk over a mess is I have something better to do!!!

2. Experiencing God Day-by-Day by Henry T. Blackaby. I have the journal edition and have gone through it probably 5 years in a row. I am always amazed at how one day's devotion has different meanings and affects on me each year!

3. Hot tamales and good-n-plenty!!!

1. I am NOT a neat freak! But I do not like clutter. Dirt I can ignore. Clutter drives me crazy!

2. Right now I am going through The One Year New Testament for Busy Moms. It has been good to have a small amount of scripture to read to make sure I take the time to do it. It is also in New Living Translation and I don't think I have ever read that one before. I find it very good to read new translations every once and a while.

3. Junior Mints and Lindor Truffle Balls! Yummo!

Those are unusual choices for candy! I'm a recovering neat freak.

1. Messy, but I wish I were a neat freak!!

2. Hmmm...I'm debating between two, but I think I'm going to go with 365 Women of the Bible.

3. Whoppers or Raisinettes. Today, that is.

I agree. I can always think of something better to do. :)

I see Linda is checking up on what you are eating for your extra 100 calories each day?? Ha! Personally, I love turtles (good ones), but they are way too many calories.

1. I'm right in the middle of the spectrum....

2. I'm reading a Womnens' Day by Day devotional which is great - so I'll say that.....

3. Excellent choices, Sara - I like both of those - as well as: Lemonheads, Brach's Strawberry Bon-bons, Milk Duds (when combined with movie theater popcorn), and I could go on an on.......

1. I am the freakiest neat freak ever. But my family is not. Their messes make me crazy.

2. I love "Keep a Quiet Heart: by Elisabeth Elliot. I read through it in college and have a few times since. It's wonderful.

3. Hot Tamales!!! I also love chocolate, specifically dark chocolate covered cherries.

1. pff...good thing you can't see my house at the moment. i am a terrible "surface cleaner" so i definitely fall under the *not so neat* category...can't say i'm "messy" but certainly not ocd!

2. it is usually whatever bible study i am in at the time. i get a couple devos in my email box each day so those are my small nuggets along the way.

3. well, if you've known me very long...i'm very boastful of my love and passion for Reese's pb cups!

1)Neat freak for the bathroom and my car. Messy for my bedroom and basement. The rest of the house is somewhere in between. I can't be put into catagories...I'm too round to fit in a box! HA!
2)I get Proverbs women in my email. Otherwise I'm reading Beth Moore's Freedom devotional but I forget to read it everyday.
3)Sour patch kids, cadbury milk chocolate eggs and snickers

1. I'm a closet messy. I wish I was a neat freak, but I'm too lazy.

2. Come Away My Beloved, by Frances J. Roberts. I keep buying it and giving it away. Currently I don't have a copy and I'm missing it!

3. This is too hard. I love peanut butter and chocolate which means reese's ANYthing. But I love the chewy candy too like gumdrops and licorice.

1. How's this for crazy? I can be a messy person but I am a clean freak. I don't mind stuff lying around, but I have to know that what it's lying on is disinfected. Weird-o!

2. I don't use devotional books, but I do read Elisabeth Elliot's daily devotional online.

3. Hmm. Probably Almond Joy. Love love love it!

1) I am a declutter freak. Can't stand piles of stuff. And like other things picked up. Dust - I never seem to see that.

2) Right now I am reading "When Good Kids Make Bad Choices". Awesome book. Right what I need in this time of my life. And I enjoy every morning "Moments with God."

3)I like Good & Plenty and Starburst.

As always thanks for WYAW.

P.S. My daughter may come home for a talk tonight after work. It has been 7 weeks.

1. Rachel (future pastors wife) cracked me up - I'm the exact opposite! I don't care that things are a little dirty, but I have to have things at least picked up. But I would not call myself a neat freak by any stretch of the imagination.

2. I can't say that I have a fave, but I'm getting some good ideas from all these comments.

3. Reese's, probably, or Three Mustketeers.
