Project 365 - Week 20

Well this has been a roller coaster week for me. I had some highs and some low lows and was was very lucky to have only forgotten once to take a picture.

Actually, as I look at these pictures, they don't really represent my week all that well.......I did all those things and they were part of my week, but I wasn't able to capture the "meat" of my week. Maybe that's what makes project 365 so wonderful.......I will most likely remember those "big" things, but these little things would be forgotten without a picture!

So, enjoy!

Sunday

This is what Mother's Day is all about......

Monday

Steve's mom has to leave today :(
We had such a great time while she was here!!!

Then she called an hour later....
...her flight was canceled and she can't get out till tomorrow..
....so back to the airport!

Tuesday

Well......it finally happened....
I missed a day taking a picture!!

Today was so busy...airport, doctor, fasting blood work, NO COFFEE (that right there is the problem!), work, torrential rain storm.....need I go on?

so, you get a silly Lily picture!!

Wednesday

New hair cut!!!!

I love it! But the likely hood that I can get it this straight again or to even look like this tomorrow is very slim!

Thursday
Jared came to me tonight and said....
"mom, I need cookies for class tomorrow!"

"better get busy!" I said

....and he did!!! completely by himself!

Friday

Started this today....
...not my friend right now.....oooowwww!!

Saturday
That's a lot of ocean....

....for this puzzle my daughter is doing!!!

Now it's your turn!!! Link up below and show off your week!

Loved the puzzle pics-very artistic. And the cookies? Probably my current favorite, although I haven't had peanut butter cookies for a while now. I must check out Shred. Everyone's doing it.

Love your description of “meat” of the week vs. the little things. Perfect!

Sun: Precious.
Mon: Such a story behind this . . . . :)
Tues: Not so silly! I actually clicked on this photo to see it larger (WAY! Larger) I couldn’t be sure, but that dog sleeps like our dog, Gracie. With its butt right in our faces! Hilarious!
Wed: GREAT style! Were you able to recreate it?
Thurs: I can’t make Peanut Butter cookies that look that perfect. Who is Jared’s home-ec teacher????
Fri: This….. I just don’t participate in stuff like this. Hahahahahahahah
Sat: omigoodness. How cool is that?????

A lot of WONDERFUL little moments. Thank you for sharing the precious moments of your family. Have a wonderful Lord’s Day tomorrow and a great week, Sara!!!

LOVE your haircut! It would be nice to have a stylist stop by every morning and fix it for us, wouldn't it? :-)

At the rate I'm going, I'll forget the big AND little things if I don't have a photo of 'em. LOL

Elizabeth, you are right!!! It is Week 20, so I edited the post.....see that is indicative of my week!

Esthermay....I have "sort of" been able to recreate it, but I still like the hair cut!

Lots of love, fun, family!
I really like your new hair cut!
OMG the globe map, amazing!
I just finished world map, a month-long project in my middle school ELL classroom. I love the globe concept!

Sara, I love your insight on remembering the little things...it is so valuable. Sometimes I think the little things are so much more important.
...earth is crammed with heaven....life is crammed with heaven.
Sometimes its the little things that help us see.
Thanks for all the inspiration! I hope you new week is FILLED with highs!

Sara,
I hope you don't mind, I jumped in half way through. I saw 365 Project when I was reading your Friday Fill In last week and thought I would do one too. I posted mine yesterday because I hadn't even read your beginning blog. Now that I have, I might switch to Sundays. But, it is fun and I hope you don't mind. :)

Love the new haircut! It seems everyone is going short and sassy for the summer. It really looks fantastic on you! Love all the pics and btw did you glue that puzzle together? Just wondering how you got it to stay together while holding it like that. You mentioned bloodwork and fasting....I hope you are ok! Let me know if you need prayer. :)

That puzzle looks like a fun challenge.

Sara, I hope you are able to get everything balanced out! To answer your question about the songs.....my husband and I spend a ton of time looking for songs for our music ministry. We find a lot on the internet by looking up artists and listening to songs on itunes or http://projectplaylist.com We also go to christian bookstores and listen to tons of soundtracks and we go to their websites and listen to their clips of soundtracks. It is very time consuming, but worth it because we've found a lot of great songs to sing in church.

Yep, nothing can stop me from blogging, but I may miss a day here and there. Still praying.
