Oh wait......wordless was yesterday!
However, I sit here this morning wrestling with God over some issues in my life and have no words......
.......only the grunts and groans of the wrestling match.
So, I will leave you with some things that He is laying on my heart through my bible study and I am wrestling through:
....God wants you to surrender completely to him..... not an assignment. Your calling is to be abandoned to Him
....no matter what your "only have" is, when you bring all of your "only have" to Jesus, it's huge!!
....Look at life from God's perspective, not man's perspective.
....to readjust our vision, Christ may choose to rearrange our surroundings
Please Lord, shatter my present perspective and show me the reality of YOU!!!

Good wordless Thursday. lol
Please Lord, shatter my present perspective and show me the reality of YOU!!!
Amen and Amen!
Thank you dear Sara for these sweet reminders!
Oh man, I just wanted to go SHOPPING. Get some fun cheerful clothes for the kids...Like those cute dresses and spring outfits at Children's place.
Shoot, now I want to go revise my check book...
darn wordless post.
good stuff sara. in my lesson last week it was remembering how 3000 people were killed because of the golden calf incident at mt. sinai and yet here i sit w/ my dumb idols and God is gracious. surrender indeed!
I've been here many times convinced each time more than the last that surrender is a concept that is entirely misunderstood and way too often equal to the word committment in Christian circles today.
Committment involves ME. I have to do something in order to be committed.
Surrender on the other hand is the picture of completely giving up and placing things in HIS hands. We are powerless anyway. The power is HIS! Why not SURRENDER?!
Wonderful post to make me think!
You're in my prayers, friend!

Thank you Sara - Awesome reminders of God's LOVE!
Blessings to you :)
That Esthermay is one sharp cookie. I agree with her.
"Please Lord, shatter my present perspective and show me the reality of YOU." Surrender. Abandonment. That is a brave prayer. (A wee bit scary maybe?) And an exciting prayer. I'm glad he holds us through it all. Count me in, Lord.
Such a great post, Sara. Thank you for sharing what you're learning. I needed it today.
amen. why is it so hard to keep our perspective? when we get God's perspective everything makes much better sense, and the pressure is off of us to 'BE' anything but who he made us to be and to 'DO' what he has told us to do. thanks for this post, i NEED ministry right now.
