mush mind

Well, if you noticed in one of my pictures on Sunday, I am leaving on vacation Saturday......

......a much.needed.vacation!!

My husband and I have had a lot on our plates (especially him) for the last 6 months or so and we desperately need some time to relax, refresh and rejuvenate!   So much so, that my mind is currently mush!

I have vacation brain.

Do you ever get that?  Being so excited about your vacation that you can not focus on one.single.thing!  But since I am leaving my boys for 8 days, yes this is an ADULT vacation (woot!), I have much to do before we go.

We planned this vacation over 2 years ago with 3 other couples from IN.  When God moved us to LR, we all decided that we would go on a cruise the next year.  Well, one month before the cruise, one of the friends was diagnosed with breast cancer in both breasts.  The cruise line gave us a voucher, as did the airlines, and we vowed to go when she completed all her chemo/radiation.  Well, she has and is doing great!  So this cruise will not only be a wonderful time to be with the friends I love and miss, but also a great celebration of life and God's love!!!

So, I need to appologize now for the lack of posting and commenting that will be done this week. I must make myself leave the computer alone so that I will get some things done!!

Well, just go off and leave us all land-locked and green! LOL

Hope the week flies by in the sense of the anticipation, but not so fast that you can't get everything done!

And CONGRATS on being one of the top blogs honored by CWO!! Well-deserved honor!

Sure...sure. Leave us behind. Are you gonna TiVo Jack while you're gone?

I am so jealous (in a good way :)

We haven't been on a cruise in years and I miss it.

Have fun and praising God for your friends healing. Definitely worth the wait!
