I bet they will send you a billion dollar suplus check so you can shop and buy a year's supply of socks on Black Friday. It would be good for the economy.Romanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00994230223981681213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7856599582815103185.post-80407181844681155142008-11-25T18:56:00.000-06:002008-11-25T18:56:00.000-06:00Hey there, I came across your blog in my hopping a...Hey there, I came across your blog in my hopping around this afternoon from a comment you left on Mocha with Linda. Your post about your boy’s socks brought back memories of when my son was still at home.

To make a long story short, once my son was gainfully employed and living at home and going to collage, we made a deal with him. We would provide the necessary things such as tooth paste etc. but if he wanted anything above and beyond my usual Wal-Mart brand items then he had to pay for them himself. I also repeatedly kept asking him not to leave his dirty socks and underwear on the floor of the bathroom.

This was also the main bathroom that gets used by visitors that come over as well. I decided that after I had told him at least a dozen times to pick up his discarded underwear and socks from the floor that rather than depositing them in his room I simply began to collect them and placed them in a trash bag in the back of my closet.

This went on for several months, I eventually thought he would come and ask me if I had seen any of his underwear or sock, but instead when he would run out he would just go to the Wal-Mart and buy more, which in turn he would leave on the floor and then I would pick them up and put in my now overflowing trash bags in the back of my closet. A vicious cycle, I know!!! I ended up with two trash bags full of his sock and underwear. When he moved out into his own apartment I gave him his two trash bags of underwear and sock as a house warming present.

I am not sure if that has anything to do with the washing machine eating the socks but at least it involved socks.

Blessings
RobinRobin Lambrighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12408265939620170615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7856599582815103185.post-9961367946162155242008-11-25T18:42:00.000-06:002008-11-25T18:42:00.000-06:00Do they wear P.J.'s with feet?:-)We find a lot of ...Do they wear P.J.'s with feet?
:-)
We find a lot of socks in the dog bed and in the back seat of the car.

Go figure!Esthermay Bentley-Goossenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17353385912611151311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7856599582815103185.post-85063261758016477092008-11-25T08:27:00.000-06:002008-11-25T08:27:00.000-06:00I have a whole basket of loose socks from hubby :(...I have a whole basket of loose socks from hubby :(Jules from "The Roost"https://www.blogger.com/profile/12753550240390593911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7856599582815103185.post-18595559355929793232008-11-25T06:34:00.000-06:002008-11-25T06:34:00.000-06:00Oh Sara,Just know that it's not just boys.
