Such a good reminder of the blessings we have and the responsibility to share His love wherever He leads us. I have felt that way even here in the states when I was doing Appalachian Service Project. It is hard to believe that there can be a third world country in the Appalachian Mtns....but there is. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.STILLMAGNOLIAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07453175923858351452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7856599582815103185.post-60970326157490365492013-11-02T15:40:56.417-05:002013-11-02T15:40:56.417-05:00Wonderful post and you described it beautifully, b...Wonderful post and you described it beautifully, but I get what you are saying that unless you are there you will never understand. As I was reading the part about the angry little boy and your response to pray, I was reminded of a song I heard as a young girl called "The Weapon of Prayer." Keep praying and you may never see the end result but have faith that God will take those prayers and change that young man's life. Thanks for sharing so beautifully!

Isn't it amazing at how the smallest details, the brief encounters sometimes make the most profound impact on us.

No doubt your prayers for the young boy WILL be heard. It is so difficult to see the reality of places, even here in the states.

But you are right, being obedient to the call the God places on each one of our hearts is critical to fulfilling the purpose He has for each one of us!

Can't wait to read about the rest of your journey!

Blessings
RRobin Lambrighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12408265939620170615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7856599582815103185.post-67456423695183294472013-11-02T01:30:10.064-05:002013-11-02T01:30:10.064-05:00Wow. Sometimes (and I'm not trying to come off as overly critical here) I think people want us to feel as though we have everything (and we do have A LOT) and that other countries need us so much more than those in our own back yard. There are hurting people everywhere who suffer through horrific conditions that we cannot see unless we open our eyes, or quite possibly adjust our lenses. Thank you for being our glasses today.RaDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05470940477741344533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7856599582815103185.post-49122089820921728312013-11-01T15:41:57.965-05:002013-11-01T15:41:57.965-05:00Thanks for sharing Sara!!!Thanks for sharing Sara!!!April's adventureshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09322966849839072751noreply@blogger.com
